Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It's really messing me up. I can't focus on anything for very long, and I get bored easily.
For example, I've been trying to get my permit, but I lose focus almost immediately.

It might be because of my daily use of social media like TikTok. When I was in the psych ward, I read a book that had nearly 300 pages in just three days.
Now I can't even read a single page without losing focus.
I also get irritated a lot. What simple things can I do to stop that feeling/habit?

Have you ever been assessed for ADHD?

First, stop using Tiktok. It is poison for your mind and does absolutely nothing good for you.
Start retraining your attention span in short bursts. Set a timer for 5 minutes and work on something, take a short break, then work for 5 minutes again. Over time you can slowly increase how long you work (look into the Pomodoro method).
Look into meditation. This teaches your brain to shut out everything and focus on a single thought.

When my depression gets bad, my attention span tanks and it can take a while for me to fix it. I have had to relearn how to concentrate on something more than once in my life.

Not really, I never considered it because I wasn't like this before, but thanks for the advice. I'll try it out.
