I'm tired of people saying they want to live here like all of it is paradise. My life is ruined because I was born here. People don't see how terrible healthcare is here and just see the good stuff. When I was a kid I had a 5150 done on me which led me to never finishing school because I didn't get any help for anything. I hate everyone who moves here, I don't care they are getting deported and acting like victims when they aren't. People come here for free stuff and they don't care about someone like me who was harmed bc I live here. I'm tired of people online bragging about how they think they are better than me because they know 2 languages, I wish I did! I never got any help for my reading problems so I can never learn another language. I see people all the time say this shit, like it's my fault that I wasn't able to get a better education. I see people on here talk about how they know 3 languages and I want to cry and throw up.

Although I don't really agree with most of your rant, I feel your frustration heavily. I have ADHD and math is something that doesn't come naturally for me, and I always hated school because it required so much energy out of me to sit still and behave in a way that wasn't natural for me.

I'm assuming that, maybe teachers, parents, or some random people are telling you that you're just not "trying hard enough", and comparing you to those immigrants who excel here. I heard a lot of that rhetoric from my mother who's an Asian immigrant and it made me feel inadequate, please don't take it personally.

They're ignorant and those are people you shouldn't take advice from, and they probably have a need to prove themselves as intelligent because they've been doubted so much.

They're also ignoring the large amount of immigrants who struggle in school due to racism, the ESL system which is almost impossible to get out of, and other stuff and they're just having an idealized fantasy of immigrants being better than Americans instead of seeing the bigger picture. Take things at your own pace and don't compare yourself to others, life isn't fair and we all learn at different paces. Good luck to you in whatever path you choose.

Seriously it's so annoying. Im sitting here eating basically the same stuff everyday and ppl will post about how supposedly "great" America is when there's crime everywhere and nobody in my age range can buy a house unless they are rich. I remember I used to follow this woman from China who moved to America. She had her own house by 20. That shit just pisses me off like of course it's great for you here. For me it was a nightmare. It's just unfair like I know there's worse countries but there's a lot of bad stuff here nobody talks about. My dad had his life taken away bc of the healthcare system here. There's nothing great about this country. I have teeth problems that will never get fixed bc I live here. In other countries this problem would've been fixed and would've been free.

It's all a matter of perspective I suppose. Currently I think America is pretty bad, but I feel there may have been an appeal in previous years.

Plus, I'm sure they're able to weigh the pros and cons of a large decision like immigrating. They concluded that the cons of their country outweigh the cons of America. For example, I'd rather live in America instead of Mexico due to many reasons: a stronger economy, more security, no cartels, higher wages, and more job opportunities to name a few.

Now there's also some terrible stuff about the US too. Our current Administration is awful, healthcare and inflation seems to get worse by the year, and millions are facing the reality of losing healthcare due to the "Big Beautiful Bill." Racism is still, at large, an issue across the United States as well. In reality, every part of the world is pretty shitty, it's just finding the less shitty parts, and grass is always greener on the other side.

Not always I keep seeing people saying they go to Mexico or Canada to get healthcare, even going so far as to having dual citizenship just for healthcare. I don't think most of the Mexicans coming here have it as bad as they say. So many people want to immigrate to China now because there's less crime and it's cheaper. Some people are going to Mexico for this reason too. I think to move here you already have to be doing pretty good. Asians score the highest in schools and have the most businesses here, idk why they pretend they are oppressed and stuff. I think it's just an illusion. People think all of America is like the show friends. They don't show anything real on tv and people get this warped idea of what it's really like. I understand it's a huge country and there's a lot of differences in culture and weather.
I just hate that the people who immigrate here always seem to be in the best places and then say retarded stuff to people like me "if you don't like it here leave" as if I have the money to immigrate to a different country any day I feel like it, and even if I did, I don't get job opportunities bc of where I'm from. I don't get a free hotel if I claim I'm a refugee. That stuff just really upsets me and all the time when I'm online and people brag about how great America is it's either some old wrinkley MAGA person or someone who's constantly traveling all the time. I guess I'm just mad because of stuff like that I keep seeing everyone say how sad it is people in Mexico will have to go back as if Mexico is North Korea or something. Then I'm seeing people say they have to travel to Mexico just for dental care because of how expensive it is here. Growing up I never go to go on vacation except 1 time and it was only to visit other family and I didn't get to do anything but go to a church and walk around. No amusement parks, nothing like that. I've never been to Disney world.
But I can't complain because then I'm told I'm privileged and spoiled or entitled by some dumbass boomer who bought his house working a summer job at Wendy's. I'm just mad at them. I know some people are born more poor than me, but some of the immigrants I knew growing up lived in nicer houses than mine or in a nicer neighborhood.

In fairness, that person from China likely had a shit load of money. I grew up in London and knowing so many immigrant families who were distinctly not rich, a fair few asylum seekers for example, I was amazed going to university and meeting a lot of foreign students to the UK. It didn't dawn on me you had to be kind of rich-rich to study here. But for the most part, I think your anger is misdirected, particularly insofar as the deported immigrants are concerned. You seem to have fairly generous ideals and I sympathise with the dentistry (I'm lucky enough to afford private dental care but in the UK you probably wouldn't get to see a dentist if you need welfare and we do have a universal healthcare system that's free at the point of service). But have you considered you don't understand these people's position because you're not from where they are from? People from developing nations can at least try and emigrate. Poor and disadvantaged people from developed countries don't really have anywhere else to go, particularly if your concern is improving your standard of living. That's why they want to go to the USA, come here to Britain etc.

It'd be nice to see people be less selfish, then hopefully we could build a world where doing the right thing and include all members of society in that society meaningfully.

Those who migrate (legally) have at least some money to spare to settle anew, or at least is what they should have, otherwise it would be irresponsible. Illegals seeking refuge or 'more opportunities' most often than not will just use public services without contributing much to the overall economy. Overall just poor people suffer, the 'native' ones and the illegal ones that will just exploited. It's a system no one should defend, because it's badly written and there's particularly no good solution since cit became so politicized for some stupid reason. I personally believe people shouldn't migrate unless their lives are in serious danger. Nothing can replace the sense of belonging to a community/culture/people and migration often take those away which results in more alienation/depression/people here.

If you ever had dealings with free 'elfcare you wouldn't even factor it in as a thing. Basically if you can get insured here then you do. My dad is slowly being killed by heart disease because nothing ever gets done by the public system and he can't afford private specialists out of pocket. Without money or insurance you are very very alone in any country.

Kids where I live literally aren't getting help in school bc it goes to the immigrant kids. So if you have any learning disability like dyslexia you are put behind the Mexican kids or whoever else because they get help first. And again Mexico isn't really that different from USA I'd bet a lot of places in Mexico are safer than a lot of places here now. People say "third world" and think it's people living in tents or something but no they talk about how great their home country is, so idk. Sounds like a lot of lies from the media. If it's so bad where they are from why do they brag about how much better their culture and food is? Sounds like they aren't oppressed but they sure do love pretending they are.

As an immigrant, I'd say we're both being played by the same tyrannical caste.

They get countries with stronger militaries (like yours) to utterly destroy countries with less effective militaries (like mine) based on phony pretexts, so that when giant migration waves inevitably occur, they hit the jackpot twice:

A) They get a huge influx of workers with lower demands in terms of pay and working conditions to compete with the workers of the more prosperous countries, thus bringing everybody's standards down, to the exclusive benefit of the tyrannical caste.

B) Maybe more importantly, this horrific process dilutes the sense of identity (cultural, social, religious or otherwise) of both the locals *and* the immigrants, while the caste retains a strong sense of self.

Basically, after this process is repeated a couple of times, both of us (let's say those of European descent and middle-eastern descent, but this applies to many other cultures) no longer know -or even care- what it means to be European or Middle-eastern. But "they" will still know and care what their twisted heritage is.

I mean, I do like sexy European girls with pale skin, nice curves and all, and *a measure* of diversity is a good thing, if only to avoid the dead-end of inbreeding. But the way this is pushed down everybody's throats currently is obviously not that!

It is sold to us all as a virtue and "social justice", but it's actually just a way to diminish our value, by making a big-soup of generic drones, who'll always advocate for the proverbial "current-thing", precisely because they have no strong sense of collective self.

But don't you dare notice any of that, or you'll be labeled a hater or a conspiracy theorist... Sigh.

ב''ה, now, without blaming Mexico specifically, how does every town have a cocaine bar? Though of course tweak is bathtub everywhere and so on.

Unfortunately (or fortunately from a religious G-d's truth perspective) I'm really particularly sour on Catholicism as really particularly has been allowed to run the immigration game along the southern US border. There's a lot of church solidarity although that includes the robbers *and* cops cycle of forgiveness in that rather than making good laws in the first place.

Now, I'm salty about weird religious stuff I wouldn't even be as salty about if G-d hadn't kicked my ass over it, but let me not go into that, as that just makes improving anything more difficult. (However, I guess I will say that after seeing someone simply beg to use an outdoor spigot and the entire plumbing in the place falling apart within weeks, solder failing and such, no rational causal explanation except really dumb luck.. some people bring that weird vibe.)

G-d, in the original Torah, to the Jewish people, says to welcome the stranger, y'know, give people a chance. As much as some of these ethics remain popular or are repeated.. being a first generation immigrant anywhere (though certain places are charging ridiculous amounts) probably brings on a load of help and joy for the exoticism. In the past helped quite many mostly legal immigrants, somehow we all kinda got along.

These days, there's a lot of weird vibes but there's also a housing shortage and often a lot of stupidity with REIT ownership and property management, and it ain't always who's buying the dope or hacking, but if you're a big happy hard working family in the construction trades, compared to an actual bedraggled American possibly single.. it's easier to get sympathy.

With rare exceptions like past NYC (never fully immune but with rapid turnover) and other actually very expensive cosmopolitan downtowns, various immigrant communities would tend to naturally form their enclaves but, the path to citizenship was less goofy then so illegality was less a thing, and new land and construction was available, a lot of folks were literally building their own homes as was a bit easier before gas lines and electricity.

So, punch upwards at the modern housing situation creating more struggle than there possibly should be.

Now, I *have* seen people of all kinds be shitty and I absolutely acknowledge that families have been spread across the border before there was a border, as always kept things weird in the southwest, but previously fewer people, more space, and less of the angst from all sides. Now there's been decades of influx chasing economic booms short or fictional, and with US leadership so sure the country and economy falls apart if real estate prices ever fail to double..

.. This is fueling a certain love for American Football with anyone who can play the property game. Gaining control of the building trades, as spaghetti flavored factions of The Church demonstrated to everyone else, was a great way to know how to play the real estate game, end up with a few properties as is the American Dream, and start only keeping around neighbors they like.

That said, everyone has gone batshit with this everyone needs at least 4 jobs and pills or dope to never sleep thing.

That said, if you look at the overlap in what used to be Spain in USA if we're kvetching about the parts of that culture that have gone a bit.. well, ahem, I've known other Catholics who spent their teens getting West Side Story in the streets so.. there's a lot of back and forth on what creates that particular Fight Club mentality.. it makes slightly more sense to sigh from places this is new than from places those families did build the whole city in the first place.

That said I'm going to be further charitable and say there is some weird shit stirring people up just to keep some of the dope game federally subsidized (saves half the airfare) and for more mundane agribusiness reasons - excuse for shittier pay, longer hours, whatever, it serves business if in California and Texas 'you can always hide out doing farmwork until it blows over.'

That's regular systemic stuff to address, and if citizenship were easy rather than ridiculous, everyone who's been here for 30+ years would just be standing trial like Diddy if doing anything equivalent, but the whole system is a clusterfuck and since COVID everyone's been too rude in a lot of places to make bilingual stuff the good ol' Spanglish it used to be when it was easier for citizens besides the company owners to be on the job sites (and then the owners have to be careful what citizens they hire to see the mess, and on it goes).

After killing almost all native americans the settlers have an almost empty continent, prepared for immigation that they have to endure. Unlike my country that always in history was due to overpopulation a country for emigration and not for immigration, but still they come.
