Don't matter? I sometimes think that none of us do.

It's certainly true that human life does not matter. As humans we only exist just to die and be forgotten about. It's inevitable for us all. The idea that life has some kind of meaning or purpose is just a delusion, for some people the true meaningless nature of life is hard for them to accept, so they invent a purpose for themselves as they fear insignificance, the truth is there is no point to living at all.

If someone was to die then they wouldn't miss out on anything as they would lack the consciousness to be able to feel anything. I personally find it comforting how insignificant this all is. Eventually no matter what I will be completely unaware of this nightmare existence with all it's endless cruelty and suffering and I will finally be at rest.

I feel this way constantly :( sometimes I justify myself being gone via an environmental impact or family not having to deal with me or just no friends.
