• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

i keep telling myself "it'll be lights out, it won't matter, it won't be your problem" but i keep picturing my roommates, and my cats. they'd find me eventually. i think. or maybe they'd call my partner to check on me. maybe my cats would sniff me. i can't stop thinking about it all. i don't want to think about it.

If you have your own room and intend to ctb there then you could put a sheet or something attached/taped/nailed to the ceiling in front of the door covering the scene and put a sign on it warning to your roommates to call the authorities so they don't have to be traumatized for finding your body. Depending on your method you could also put a sheet or blanket over your body before you ctb if you don't want your cats to find you in that state.

Is a hotel an option? Personally in that circumstance, I'd try to go somewhere at least people I knew wouldn't find me. You'd hope the staff would be trained too- to not enter if a sign was up to call the authorities.
