I was diagnosed with stage 2/3 endometriosis in 2024. I say stage 2/3 because I wasn't given a definitive answer out of the two stages. But I feel like it's only just hit me now in 2026 that I'm gonna have this disease for the rest of my life😅😭. I'm not ok🥴.

My pain and discomfort is pretty much constant now and nothing I'm doing is helping it. Do any other users have anything that's worked well to manage your Endo pain?

If medicines doesn't help, the only thing that may help you is meditation, but you need to get into it for real. Meditation isn't religion, it's scientific and had been proved to help.

Pain is just a way for your body communicate to your brain that something is wrong, but remember you still can learn to control your brain especially to workaround the pain feeling.

In 2019, I had ovarian cysts and experienced a lot of pain. One of them opened up. I didn't really receive proper help and only occasionally took ibuprofen. It was a very uncomfortable feeling for months, like fluid sloshing around in my abdomen. But somehow, it was absorbed on its own.

Since then and because I hope to improve my body, I occasionally take Mönchspfeffertabletten (I think it's called monks peppermint tablets in english) and different supplements mostly Selen, Beta-Carotin, Iron, Magnesium, everything else and Astanxanthin because I have organic/hormonal problems since years, but mainly I have bad genes and problems with kidneys, thyroid, hairloss and all that shit. I have also had androgenetic alopecia confirmed now twice.

My period is extremely light or has stopped altogether in the last years. I assume I'm already going through menopause (before 30). Early menopause. And pain comes mostly from my kidneys/lower back. But I've got it somewhat under control and recently started taking paracetamol again.
I realized that my mother gave me very old paracetamol tablets instead of buying new ones. I have now new ones and I feel bit better but they aren't for strong pain.

In your case I think, you just could try Morphin and Fentanyl or Tilidin. I had Tilidin years ago because I found a doctor who helped me against a shingels infection.

But since then, I haven't had any medical care, and the tablets are empty, I used them all. I know they were helpful for the nerve pain caused by shingles.

Maybe heat patches and pain gels on the skin could also help with endometriosis.

Absolutely false.

I used to love meditation. I can't think straight any more, enough to meditate on something or even zone out.

Pain can become a signal there is no way to address. It's just a worthless signal. An alarm or a siren that doesn't stop blaring but cannot always be treated. Just noise — overwhelming noise — with no off button or volume adjuster.

Chronic pain is like this. I don't have endo but I have neuralgia and decayed teeth with exposed nerves.

Meditation isn't a "work around" for all pain and suffering.

Yeah.. I know it can help some people, our minds do have a lot of power such as the placebo effect, but it's not some sort of magic panaceum for all ailments nor is it effective for everyone.
Tbh, it reads like an atheist version of "spiritual bypassing", up there with those who think CBT will fix every chronic health issue too.
Some problems don't have solutions, at least none that we are aware of for now. I am so sorry for both you and op

If this isn't enough to prove to you that meditation works, I don't know what else will.

Thank you for responding. I'm so sorry you've had to deal with all of this, ovarian cysts sound horrendous😭

I am thinking of going back to the doctors to ask about pain management so hopefully something will come from that. There are some patches I have that are pretty good and I'm also a fan of deep heat.

lol.

I knew someone would bring up this picture, this incident.

This was time bound. It was over shortly. It was not persistent, relentless for hours, days, weeks, years.

I'd rather do what he did than do this for decades, potentially until I'm 80-90, which is when most of my family members tend to die of natural causes.

I think self-immolation has been discussed on here a few times. It's inefficient and you're more likely to just sustain disfiguring burns and fuck up your life even more.

I don't trust anything or anyone but a hole in the head.

Just as an example of how powerful meditation can be. Burning to death is probably one of the worst ways to go.

I think this guy is an unique example for humanity showing what our mind is capable of.

So this is just my experience but opiates only touch my chronic pain and there are VERY Addictive so tread with caution. The problem is many docs in america (where i live) want to treat the chronic pain but the dea and gov basically force them to be the messengers of no when it comes to pain meds, so i suggest if your in that position try the methadone clinic but try Pain management first. But please if opiates help dont fall in love like i did….
With my fucked up opiate tolerance methadone helps but opiates that are much weaker should help, but there's a specific way you have to request pain meds without getting the addict label (pm if you need advice) cause i got the addict label on my record so its so hard to manage my chronic pain, but also have you tried weed? It helped when my pain wasn't as severe

Hey I also have chronic pain, right now my pain clinic prescribed me "emergency" tramadol aka 15 pills every 2-3 months to take when my pain is really bad. It helps but 15 pills every couple months is really not enough. I'm scared to ask for more in case they label me an addict and then refuse to give me ANY tramadol at all anymore. Could I DM you too?

I don't understand why don't they just prescribe opioids with a ceiling effect. Fewer risks of overdosing or dying.
