Life destroyed by invega

The only reason humans think that they're somehow more valuable or that their lives matter more than say a dog or cats life is because of Religion, which is a man made fairy tale written throughout history by guys who were taking too many drugs.

We are superior in most cases because we can out think and have captivated or killed basically every animal that exists because we invented weapons and tranquilizers.

Until this attitude that life is the most valuable thing ever and most people wanting to live longer lives, us suicidal people will be stuck here or have to resort to high risk attempts in order to free ourselves from this prison.

Euthanasia is the almost perfect solution, you could die peacefully knowing that it'll be the end, not worrying whether you'll be somehow "saved" after you pass out or if the attempt fails if someone finds you.

I agree, human life really isn't precious or valuable yet people like to think otherwise because they have an inflated sense of ego. Religion appeals to so many people because it makes people feel important and that they're so important to where an arbitrary god of the universe cares about humans and humans specifically. I will admit that humans are of course more sapient than other species but, even so, human life still isn't valuable or precious. In the end, we're all just primitive animals waiting to die. It's absolutely stupid to try and force people to live when death is inevitable. We will all die anyway so what's the point in waiting it out when we don't want to? We deserve a peaceful way out no matter what. It's so infuriating that something as peaceful as euthanasia exists yet it's still so inaccessible. Humans truly are the worst species ever. Humans are just a massive plague here

I think more that there should be a greater focus on what we ought to be protecting.

Human life, any sentient life I'd argue does require protection from being exploited or destroyed. Otherwise, you'd have to say murder, industrial disasters and genocide don't really matter either. When clearly- they do. We expect people to be held accountable if they cause the death of our loved ones. In those cases though- those people presumably wanted to live.

What I think is important is to acknowledge that it's our right to choose that we should be protecting. I really think they need to sort out some fundamental principles in order to acknowledge that people can choose to die rationally. Firstly that suicidal ideation doesn't always mean mental illness and secondarily, even if mental illness is present, it may not mean that the person is incapable of rationalising so- they are mentally competent enough to make that decision.

I think life does actually need to be protected to some degree. Otherwise, there's no deterrent for murders and corporations who put profits over safety or crazed dictators. But definitely- when it comes to assisted suicide, I think we're long overdue an assessment as to why it's so opposed. The world feels very secular to me. We can't all be expected to follow someone else's religion. I think a major stumbling block is the general population. Do many parents of families or friends view their loved ones as useless? Probably not. They likely still see value/ potential in us.

There is no inherent value to human life. As a species, we're more intelligent and can make and use tools. Other than that, human life has no inherent significance compared to other life. There is no meaning to life. Your and my lives are insignificant. There is nothing special about humans. There is no soul. The thought that for whatever reason people are anything more than predators who made it to the top is asinine. A human baby dying is sad, but it's the same as a squirrel or even a snail baby dying. Absolutely not emotionality to that person, but that's emotional, not objective.

I agree that death is better than life because we are excess that needs to be destroyed permanently.

But people believe in religion to give their life meaning, it is a way to embrace the sacred.

We suicidal people worship death, and they worship God, the superiority is always subjective because irrationally rules despite the plausible efforts of science.

The thing is people make meaning, this is why religion exists, there is whole philosophy advocates for creation of subjective meaning for life upon meaningless existence.

I find it deeply insensitive when people force the "life is so valuable" mindset onto others and insist that suicide is never an option because of it, believing that all suffering should be prolonged no matter what even know none of us asked for any of this and it's all meaningless anyway.

I despise anything anti-suicide as under no circumstances would I ever wish to suffer in this futile existence that was always undesirable in the first place, in my case I believe that existence is best avoided and more than anything I wish I never existed at all.
I see no value in the torturous, dreadful burden that is human existence when the peace of eternal nothingness solves everything, I see nothing to be gained by prolonging consciousness as long as possible, rather such a thing just leads to unnecessary suffering that never needed to exist.

Insisting that life is so precious to the point that people must suffer even if they are desperate to die is very repulsive to me, there's no value in how existing beings have been tormented so senselessly all throughout history, existence serves no purpose but to torment existing beings.

It's not life itself that's sacred, it's blood, and life is just one of the components of blood.

It's not that life itself is sacred. Life is simply an ingredient of blood, and blood is sacred. If life were sacred, there wouldn't be justified forms of killing such as death penalty. Yet, there are. Bloodshed of someone innocent, or if the bloodshed is administered by someone who has a personal vendetta against the assailant, makes the difference in whether or not the killing should be held accountable. A human fetus has blood flow as early as two weeks of development. As such it is not possible for it to be alive before that two week period, but that is so early on it is impossible to detect before that point—this issue of blood is the precise thing that makes abortion murder.

In an ideal world all life should be valuable and precious. Having value in our lives gives us purpose and meaning and a reason to live and respect other life. Without anything to value, our lives are meaningless and we may as well be dead. We do not live in an ideal world however and that is what these pro lifers fail to see, they just go around preaching and projecting their ideologies onto others simply cause it makes them feel and they can ignore the real state of things. Society and culture places value on different things that people constantly strive to achieve and many fail at. The more failures we have, the more we loose value and meaning in our lives. But many are simply set up to fail no matter what, so that others have a greater chance of winning and their lives are seen as more valuable and precious. It sucks and some of us have to work damn harder than others just to create a little something of value in our lives to give a reason to go on living.

Even if humans really were important I don't see why that itself is even relevant, if someone doesn't want to live they should have full autonomy to stop living simple as
