Help How to tell if a site is legit?

I'm recently new to the DNM scene and have noticed that the suites seem kinda amateur looking. How do I tell if a site is legit rather other than the obvious HTTPS, padlock and such?

However, I thought i'd run it by you all and get your feedback on such matters. Do most suites look like this or is it just the one's i've run into so far?
