Is it this video ? It's called how the choking game kills demonstrated on YouTube

When i watch this video it seems it's the easiest way to commit suicide. You're unconscious very quickly

Can i do a full hanging with short space with my door ?
From the door, tie the nylon rope on the other end of the door, then close the door. If I do not touch the ground, only 30 cm will remain for the rope as an additional space top the door?

Having read the entire thread, I've seen people try at the top/bottom of the apple, the knot in front/back/sides. They did their tests and agreed on what was best for them. If it worked, or if it just hurt. Discomfort etc. Sorry I couldn't advise you such a thing, it's too personal to everyone.
All I can say is, be careful during your tests.
I will! Thank you! I'll try finding my carotid and a comfortable position

Here's what I can contribute.

Twice when I was a kid I hung myself. Once in my closet with short drop, not really intending to die. I passed out ultra fast and it didn't hurt at all. This would be the sweet spot everyone talks about.

A few years later I did a full suspension from the rafters. Again I passed out with no issue, but I DID regain consciousness while suffocating and thankfully the rope then snapped. I would not try this again.

Two years ago I spent weeks trying to do short drop suspension and simply could not make it work. I tried all sorts of different ligatures and body placements, but couldn't pass out. I even tried the tourniquet. You know what I think my problem was though? Just being a pussy. Both of those times as a kid when I passed out I just went for it, full body weight. This whole seeking a peaceful and easy way to pass out is what screwed me, I expect.

I tried partial with a cotton pashmina twisted into a thick rope, hung from a bar in my closet.
I put the scarf right above where my Adams apple would be if I were a man, and leaned forward. I got lightheaded very quickly and really had trouble getting out of it (I didn't intend to CTB that day). It was honestly very comfortable. I could breathe fine, no pinching.
The trick is that darn SI that tells you to stand up, though. It's there, in the back of your mind whether you want it to be or not.

This method interests me, I just feel I'd fuck it up some way, I don't think I'd have enough privacy at home, it would need to be outside, could I do it in woods with a strong branch?
What would I need? Just a standard rope?
If something personal next year don't work out for me I'll be wanting out asap.
Right now I'm torn, just about hanging on… the thought of exiting life to me gives me comfort, nothing else is.

Partial hanging means that you don't put the whole weight of your body on your chosen rope/whatever, but only enough to apply pressure to the arteries.

Can anyone one It details for us in boring detail what Clara did here, was it a partial or complete hanging, what was the distance between it and the ground, did she hang herself quickly or quietly, and what was the rope or cloth she used? And her closest alternative is a belt?

I'm going to tie my rope to my pullup bar, what sort of knot should I use? Also, what material should the rope be? How thick in terms of inches?

The recommended knot is the slipknot. As for the material, it could be anything that can hold your weight (if you're doing full suspension) or just a portion of your weight (if you're doing partial suspension). Climbing rope seems to be the popular choice.

Has anybody here tried using door hinge as an anchor? I'm scared it might break.

My family's bathroom's door is broken so I can't use that. Our house is very open too (no second floors or anything like that, and doors are always open), and I share a room with my sibling. They don't go outside that much, and even if they do go outside, they do it at a time where our parents are awake so I can't do it in our room either. There's basically no privacy in the house I live in.

I can't go outside either (personal reasons). The only place where I can CTB is in the bathroom. If it matters, my height is 5'2 ft and my weight is (I think) 67 kg. I'm planning to use a 10mm nylon rope, but I also have a 10mm and 12mm cotton rope I can use.

The top part of the door hinge in our bathroom is higher than the ones I saw on Google, so the rope fits it and it doesn't come off when I tried to pull it. I'm scared it might break once I actually start letting go and putting weight in it though. So uh, anyone here has experience with using a door hinge? Or just any advice at all? Is this a terrible idea/plan or something?

I've been a long time lurker and just decided to join the other day. I've attempted suicide several times in my life, but have never attempted partial suspension hanging. I keep coming back to this thread. What a wonderful community of people.

I will be making my first attempt using this method in less than 48 hours. If anyone has any interest, I'll post updates, findings, etc.

Attempted partial before. You just need to find the cartoids. It will only take a few minutes. Once you do it's quick. SI is a bitch though and you will stand up the first few times. I'm just going full suspension tomorrow night. Full suspension guarantees compression and unconsciousness in 10-20 seconds. It might be more uncomfortable but once you kick the bucket it's over. That's what I'm going for.

Just curious what kind of location you are planning on doing full hanging at? I've attempted partial a number of times but I couldn't get over SI and I've concluded similarly that full hanging would be the more reliable method for me. I'm just not sure there would be a good high enough place that is private

I've done some testing over the years with sitting partial suspension. One problem i've faced that i've seen others describe is getting a "head-explody" feeling.
I follow the usual instructions of placing it below the adams apple, tightening it tight, etc, but most of the time the blood swells into my head and its nothing but pain and discomfort. i've had a few lucky strokes where I felt sleepy in short seconds. too bad I abort before i slip into eternal sleep.
If the positioning is correct, then what other factors may be messing it up. the rope? My posture?

In my case, the problem was that I did not apply enough pressure.

I think the idea of 'you need only 5 kg of pressure' or whatever the number is, is bullshit. You need much more than that. People confuse "needing x amount of pressure" with "pulling the rope with x amount of force". It's not the same. If you pull the rope, only a small fraction of that force goes to where the arteries are.

This is why I'll do full, and not partial. Partial is recipe for failure.

i think youre supposed to position it above the adams apple cause thats where the carotid arteries are

Do you pass out quick with full suspension? And how do you do it with a belt and a doorknob?
