How to control ypur affairs after death

Hey, sorry if there is a giant thread for this info (I'm not in a good mindset to hunt around for ages for one).

I have fam issues where my mum has history of a huge gambling addiction and I don't want my money going to her. I want it to go to charities but idk how to make this happen. I don't wanna do this before death for multiple reasons. I also feel embarrassed about my money as I don't work & feel I shouldn't have savings (I'm not in the USA, we have benefits where I am). So I want to try have my money not known to anyone.

You must contact a lawyer. Write a will. Have your lawyer and at least another person as witnesses of you writing and signing it. It is an statement that will say where the money goes to. State in there someone in which you trust the money to so they can donate it. Or you can just mention in the will what foundations you want your lawyer to hand the money to.
