Most stations follow this policy. Last year, one station in NYC live-streamed on Facebook a man's attempt to jump from a bridge:

skywaybridge.com tracks every suicide (and attempt) from the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Tampa... the #1 suicide bridge on the East Coast of the US. Sometimes folks discover victim's social media profiles and post them.
I've never seen individual cases of suicide on the news. Only if there's been multiple during a short period of time but they don't name specific people.
I am pretty sure my country has a policy of not reporting suisides in case it inspires copy cats etc because of the attention. At most you just hear "a body was found police are investigating" then no follow up

You'd be dead and therefore won't care or be affected whatsoever. (not to mention,even if it does make the news,its likely to be forgotten in a few years) Don't worry about it.

They don't put suicide on the news here unless it's in a very public location or has attracted attention and even then they don't state it wasa suicide they just say a body was found and circumstances are non suspicious and then they post a list of hotlines.

so you die and some idiots post images of your dead body and write stupid misinformation about you ex: "he killed himself because of x (x = stupid reason)" guess what, you're dead so who cares. And if the death is not the end, guess what, you'll have better things to do and you won't think about it.
Plenty will show up if you just search regular google by week, month, etc... I do this sometimes because I'm curious to read about other people who had the courage to do it.
Usually it seems like suicides that are in some way public will get attention and also if families/friends want to speak out or as others have said if the person was well known or if someone is missing and then found. I'm sure the majority never make the news, though. For me personally, making the news is definitely something I would like to avoid.
I think if you're a regular depressed boring person and you do it under uninteresting circumstances and use a popular method you should be safe from the news. Most people sadly do not care about some rando who jumped off a bridge because they were depressed all their life and had financial problems.
