How often do you leave the house?

I rarely leave my house these days due to my anxiety and was wondering if anyone else was in the same boat. I've no job, college or friends. I just sit in the house all day suffering from ptsd flashbacks and having panic attacks. I've been this way for ten months now since I was hospitalised.

I go into the office 5 times a week so pretty much that only. I dont mind as the weather is getting better now but wish I was back to hybrid

too little and since too much time now...and it's a problem.
if I want to improve I absolutely have to change this right away and go out often because I need it to try to live and not just breathe and suffer every day.

I have responsabilities that drag me out of here a couple times a week, else I'd probably stay. Vacations are usually like that. This christmas I cloistered and watched like 50 movies.
Also really sorry you are getting through that. I know that state well and it can make the house feel both like the only safe place in the world and a prison that's digesting you. It's dark and lonely and it gets awful. So I feel you, sending you bigger hugs back <3333

At most two times a month. I always end up getting mocked whenever I leave the house, so I usually only leave when I have to.

I used to be very housebound, but I'm trying my best to get out alot more, taking my dog for a walk, going to the shops, or going to the pub for a beer, been lucky in going to a charity where I attend workshops and classes on looking after myself, and recently started a crafts class, my mobility isn't good so that's an added problem i'm struggling with.

school monday-thursday, work friday-saturday(once a week, or twice), sometimes sundays. sorta forced myself to get used to only going out for school since my mom is very overprotective and i can't drive so my transportation to places is limited.

Since my breakup 3 months ago, I only go to work and that's it. I have 0 motivation to do anything else. Weekends and evenings are spent inside and I order all of my food via delivery or don't eat at all.

Going to work 5 days a week takes a massive toll on me and I've been postponing/cancelling appointments unless they're virtual.

And even then it's usually to take out the trash (my dad usually does it) or check the mailbox.

Rarely do I actually travel anywhere, but I'm hoping that will change.

My job don't require me to go to an office building, so I rarely go outside, I go out if necessary, or if I just want to go out to a nice place

Asides from taking the bins out, very rarely. I work from home and get shopping delivered. Last year, I think I went 8 months without going anywhere.

I very rarely leave the house. It was never my intention for this to happen but when my father figure CTB, my support for my Autism got taken away as I lost the person who was advocating for me. I have spent 6 years in my bedroom with no professionals listening to me. They've finally started to after a new social worker but even now I barely leave the house.. Maybe once a month but sometimes that's just sitting in the car.. to properly go outside can be a couple of months.

I have a full time job so I have to leave home for that. Even on my days off I need to go out for chores and I also just like being outside. Even if it is just sitting out front of my house or taking a quick walk up and down the street.

im very social and extroverted so very often. when im in a depressive episode it can be that i dont leave my house for 1-2 weeks but other than that i meet up with friends a lot plus go to uni.

i leave the house pretty much every day to walk our dog and i'd say it definitely helps me feel better, i tend to spiral if i don't leave the house for days on end

While I may not exactly like the societal part of life I value nature far too much to part for long from it, so I tend to go outside just to look at sunsets, the stars, the bugs ect.

Pretty much almost everyday. I'm an extrovert, i love to socialize with my friends or just simply go somewhere by myself.

Only when I absolutely have to. I have everything I need delivered once a month, but I have to go to the feed store every couple of months. Then there are the regular pain management appointments and the trip to the pharmacy for my meds. I feel put upon by having to go out those three times. Ugh.

Dealing with people is just such a drain. Oh ... And I meet my son once a week for lunch or dinner. That doesn't count, though. I ENJOY that.

I am extremely tired and lack energy ,I can walk barely 10 minutes and my muscles are tired and my legs begins to shake :( I have not been outside more than year by now and I wish I could , I used to go for longer walks, to visit nature all by myself to ease from all the problems I have, I miss it very much its like part of my soul is outside and I can't meet myself there, it was one of the last things I used to enjoy, now I am all alone living in my head without anyone to share any thoughts or talk , I wish I had better social life when I could , I am not really introverted I just have not meet a right people back when I could live normal life. Its sad slowly dying all alone and my hope is suicide

Collect my scripts at the chemsist once a month.. shops across the road for bits i mean like 5 meters away so but my carer does most of that and then i get a taxi to and from my paino lesson twice a month other wise why lea e my safe little bubble.. i only open the curtains when im forced to ..apparently sunlight will fix me ...

I go out everyday just to prove that going out everyday doesn't do shit for my well-being. Things are exactly the same for me whether I go out or not.
