It's the question I ask myself as I contemplate hanging fully suspended off the floor.

I figure if I can withstand at least 30 seconds of excruciating pain, I will not fail at my task. But from what I see in gore videos, most are unconscious in 10-15 seconds.

As one of my (now dead ) friends told me, the dead don't remember the pain.

I would if it means the death is guaranteed and I never suffer in this torturous, futile existence ever again as non-existence really is all I hope for and what terrifies me is how trying to die can go wrong and lead to way worse torture and agony. All I hope for is an guaranteed death, I just want to permanently cease existing and be free from all future unnecessary suffering in this existence where I'm just hoping and waiting to not exist anyway, for me non-existence truly is all that's desirable, I just want peace from all the suffering and cruelty of existing.

If I absolutely know I won't wake up again? I think I can endure a minute or so. The worst would be knowing I pushed through, and failed.

I agree - I am willing to trade pain for lethal results

For me, outside of an sn purchase that more than likely won't reach me, my most viable option is full suspension. I haven't investigated all avenues of my house yet, but I more than likely will need to seek a solid tree of some sort. I worry I'll be interrupted

Extreme Pain is much worse than people know

think of the worst second of that 30 seconds of excruciating pain. there are pains worse than that. Multiply that by a billion times worse then it not even close to the hell of unbearable pain .it's possible for any human or sentient animal to suffer pain at the level of the worst second constantly unending without lowering the level of excruciating pain for one second : then try to sleep like that . not sleeping is a hell of it's own.

but they tell us this life is so beautiful and sacred a brain that can suffer unending constant unbearable pain.

the weak human brain can't remember how bad even regular pain is .

I really don't want to feel any kind of pain because I've already felt enough in life. And the idea that in order to leave you have to feel more pain is something that drives me crazy. I really wonder what I did to end up in this biological madhouse.

it would depend on how long it was for, I could cope with a minute or two of higher levels of pain if it meant it succeeded.

I chose FSH too. Just a few seconds (until losing consciousness) of pain for eternal peace and silence seems like a good deal.

Get me Out

I would be willing to do a lot if I knew it would work and no would stop me, even setting myself aflame, as that a lot of suffering would probably be less than continuing the rest of my life. Its just my low pain tolerance will make me back out of it so I need a method I can't stop when it's started.
As one of my (now dead ) friends told me, the dead don't remember the pain.
This. To me the worst bit of a traumatic event isn't the event itself but that you remember it and continue to suffer from it. I won't suffer after the suicide is carried out successfully so to me that's worth it.

Any pain as long as it guarantees death. I wouldn't put up with the pain that comes with slicing my wrists as that wouldn't guarantee death. I wouldn't put up with an overdose that leaves me alive with a barely functioning liver. But I will endure pain if it means jumping off a cliff and feeling the thud of my body on the ground, the feeling of my nerves pulsing one last time as they tell me 'pain! pain!' because in a couple milliseconds, milliseconds that feel like an instance, I will be dead!

That's the type of pain I'll endure.

I'll also endure the pain of getting fatally stabbed and bleeding out if it means a guaranteed death!

I hope it's less pain than the one who promised to end my life if I didn't give him 6 million Brazilian reais (which I never had)

I'm thinking to drown. Takes about 2 minutes to go unconscious

I always remind myself all this bullshit could be over with in literally just 100 seconds

100 seconds versus 40 more years

I rather choose 100 seconds

Basically the same time it takes to microwave a burrito, or some quick frozen snack

I could only endure high pain if its like 3-5 sec i want to die peacefully with little to no pain when i jumped i broke both femurs which is the most painful fracture but adrenaline activates in a split sec so i didn't feel any pain if i had to endure a lot of pain just to assure my death i think i rather live

I also think that the probability, that being dead is something different than not existing anymore, is almost zero. So, an experience that you will never be able to remember is a very special experience, it is a little like it has never happend to you.

I steady live with chronic pain 24/7 :/ I don't want to risk violent painful methods though. Already tried hanging 3x and ended up with neck injury.

I promised myself that I will go out with a method that is most accessible to me but that doesn't involve me like jumping, hanging, or something lol.
