I have had chronic vomiting issues for a long time, and it only cleared up within the last year. I still have 7 tablets of 10mg metoclopramide that say to discard at the end of Feb 2026. I don't have anything else for and SN attempt right now, and with everything going on with SN, I don't know how long I'll have to acquire it anymore. I'm broke, so I don't even know if this is viable, but...
If it takes me a while to acquire SN how long will my metoclopramide stay effective after the discard date? Is 70mg even enough?

you could try getting a new prescription since you already had one earlier

80mg is the recommended amount but I doubt skipping the first dose would do much. I do not know about how problematic the degradation is

Thanks for this, I am not sure if I could get another prescription because it was prescribed in the ER. I also am losing my health insurance at the end of the month, so don't know if I could even afford getting more.
At this rate, I will save them just in case as a last resort I ever get the chance. Thank you for the info.
