How long will a 40cft nitro tank at 15lpm go for? I'm guessing it heavily depends on the initial psi. I know that 40 cft is about double what you need but I'm just curious. What's the equation? (40cft @ .... PSI @15lpm = How many minutes of Nitrogen output).

A full 40cf tank contains ~1132 L. So assuming it's full: 1132 ÷ 15 = ~75 minutes.

Factor into that the couple minutes it might take to fill the bag before you pull it down over your head, the various gas lost as you fiddle about with the system, and --if you're using a regulator/flowmeter calibrated for the more common CO2/Ar flow-- the uncertainty of conversion factor, and a 40cf tank is a wise investment in confidence that you'll have adequate gas.

I definitely will. Thanks for the link :). I'm not that nervous about it, but I'll be honest the idea of "uncertainty of conversion factor" is kinda on my mind. I should probably invest in a pricier/more accurate regulator specific to the inert gas than the one I currently have.
