• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I guess that they managed to find a method that they felt confident in and they had courage to finally go through with it. But at least to me suicide is something that is so unnecessarily difficult and complicated, if it was much easier I would certainly be already gone by this point. It does make suicide sound so much more straightforward than it actually is when you hear about all of these people succeeding especially with methods like hanging. I very much envy the courage that they had, I admire those who choose to end all the suffering as I'm tired of feeling trapped here.

Obviously everyone participating here is alive, either never attempted it, or attempted and failed. We can't just get the dead ones and ask them how they did it (I wish we could).
For some people it may be impulsivity, for other lack of understanding of the consequences (for example in suicidal children), for some actual determination. I don't know if I will succeed if I will attempt, but I agree that the suicide prevention makes the suicide unnecessarily painful and traumatic, instead of making lives of people actually worth living. I hate it here, but that is how it works unfortunately.

Instead of all these, suicide prevention lines, I could really use one that gives some real tips on how to do it..... there is a business opportunity right there...

I wonder the same, I keep looking at pictures/videos of people who have done it, and I just wonder how? I have this nagging feeling I will fail.. I keep asking myself what's it going to take to get me off this planet and out of this body... I wish I could just take action and have the desired outcome in my first go... Part of my problem is I don't have any privacy so for the past few months (since I've been suicidal) this is all that I've been thinking about but I have not had much opportunity to act. I've got SN and am also preparing the inert gas method, I also am looking into partial hanging. I prefer partial hanging at home as it's quick and supposedly painless. I havn't tried any of the methods that I have yet, but I pray at least one of them works.

I think the people who ctb are the ones who are asking how everyone alive is able to keep living and wondering how they can handle it

Try to develop the courage anything will do. Run 16km, stop having fear of social interactions, etc...

Nah. Courage is different from being healthy. You cant be courageous, if there's no fear. Do what you want though, that's just my answer.
Theres no easy way.

Absolutely no idea. I think about doing it every day but on the occasion I've decided to just test my SI I can't even do basic stuff without chickening out (I.e. hold an unloaded gun to my head, try to make myself pass out with my hands, etc). If I can't do that stuff idk how I'll ever actually go through with it. The only thing I can think of is to participate in increasingly risky behaviors that take more and more courage. (For example, I think if I could ever work up to skydiving I'd have enough courage at that point to do it as that's about the scariest non lethal thing I can think of.)
