How do you set a date?

I always thought I'd set a date to bid my farewell to the universe, but how do you arrive at a decision for one day out of 365? I really think I'm going to go sooner rather than later. I'm fading away, I really don't think it would take much to extinguish what's little left of my soul now!?
i picked a day that is important to me, but you dont have to pick a day if you feel it wont suit you. just ctb when you have the materials and feel like

I would personally see it as best to just leave this world when the time is right rather than trying to stick to a date. I think that if one tries to set a date in advance things can potentially get in the way of their plans as after all life is unpredictable and uncertain.

Its up to you whether the day means something important to you or if its just a day you are finally ready to ctb. It could even be out of convenience of circumstances that make it ideal for you at that time.
Ive set a few dates before without following thru and I still have a few future dates in mind that prob wont happen.
I'm planning to do it this summer, that means I leave in any moment between June and August.
Before to pick a specific day, I recommend to make peace with yourself about dying and go whatever your heart decides.
Yeah, that sounds contradictory with the first statement but in my case is more a cloudy period of time rather than an exact date. Or perhaps it will come sooner, that depends on my life circumstances.
i plan on making my last day a good one. go out with some friends and family so at least their last memories of me can be happy ones. my day isn't set but i don't think the actual date matters, just what it consisted of.
