I'm 18, for the last two years of my life I've been working two jobs (both as a fast food employee) while I did online schooling
Honestly it's not so bad, I don't have any problems with the people I work with, matter a fact I actually think they're the only reason I even go in at this point since they are the only source of socialization I get.
It's the people in the drive through who I can't stand..
My suicidal thoughts have only gotten worse these last few months, I have a plan and date set.. but every once in a while I like to test my luck.
I will cash out customers and wish them a beautiful day, if they reply with "thank you, you too" or even a simple "thank you" I stick to my original planned date.
If they don't reply, and give me some sort of attitude then I would simply "do it" that same day.. kinda like Russian roulette.
I would do this anytime I was feeling extra miserable, hoping that someone would give me a push.. but no. The lady who I started with was really kind, even made me laugh, so I tried again.. and again… and again.
Obviously I don't think anyone else is doing this at work, but it truly makes you think about the impact and importance of how you talk to people.
Anyway I hope this doesn't come off as weird or anything
