It's going to be my last Christmas so I'm not really sure. Excited to spend it with family. Sad. Guilty. A wide range of emotions I guess. It's hard to be happy this holiday season when I'm hiding something so dreadful from everyone I love.

Everyday for me is just another day of suffering and waiting to die in this existence I always saw as the most torturous, futile mistake, I'm so tired of being burdened with this existence I never would have chose and I find it so painful how I cannot just have the option to simply die in peace to finally prevent all future unnecessary suffering. No matter what I will always find it so dreadful to exist and I feel so much dread for what lies ahead, I'd always prefer to die than prolong the suffering this existence causes and it terrifies me how a human can exist for so long with no limit as to how much agony they can feel, all I hope for is the peace of an eternal, dreamless sleep.

Dad died 4 days before last Christmas, he loved spending this time of the year with me but I usually couldn't.

Now... I'm not really sure what to do. Even thinking of telling wife to go with the family while I just... Exist.. at the bed. I'll do my best to spend the whole day sleeping.

I kinda dread it. Thanksgiving was more unpleasant than I anticipated. I'll have drugs from my psychiatrist by then (hopefully for insomnia) so I'll probably sleep through xmas, or just drink, which isn't a habit of mine.

I'm kinda neutral and I don't care.

However, I have good memories of Xmas when I was kid and young adult - I better not think about it.

The Xmas days will be days like any other here, nothing really special.

i look forward to it somewhat. i have good memories of the holiday, i get something out of it, and i've always thought the way people decorate for it was quite cute, but the social aspect sucks and having to go shopping in the weeks before for anything is way too overwhelming, since everyone is buying gifts.

at least it isn't thanksgiving.

I'm just not interested in it all. I'm just mixed about it, I liked it more as a kid and when I wasn't in a bad place.

In fact I'm going to have to buy presents for the family, so I dread it in a way.
