Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Would it be possible to wrap a tight towel around my neck with 2 boxes compressing my carotid artery? I don't have access to a ratchet strap and my family will find it highly suspicious that I'm buying something like that. I've seen somebody who ctb just by wrapping towels around his neck tied to a bed in a hotel.
You would presumably need something that can (a) be tightened more and more tightly and (b) will not loosen again accidentally. So a towel may not meet those requirements.

You need 15-30 lbs of pressure on your neck to compress your trachea you only need 5-10 to compress your carotid arteries. If you only use 5-10 lbs of pressure than your trachea won't be compressed.
Yes, what @lostangel said sounds correct (not sure of the figures off the top of my head). As well as amount of force used, the positioning of the objects over the carotid arteries is also a key factor. Done correctly, they will sufficiently compress the carotids to pass out before the trachea is even affected at all. This kind of question is definitely covered in the night-night megathread, would recommend you read it (I know it is very long!).
I tried this method with a belt. I wouldn't recommend it, mainly because it did nothing. The pressure wasn't enough. I just laid there, breathing. Since then I ordered a ratchet strap from Amazon, and I feel I'll have a better result.
