To me is fucking stupid that N is unavailable pretty much anywhere. I don't understand cocaine is illegal and still is pretty much anywhere, why not the same for N? I'm prepared to do what has to be done. I'm talking about DIY
Is it possibile that no one here is a chemist?
I understand one might need an advanced lab.
But if someone knows anything about this let me know.

Pentobarbital is synthesized by methods analogous to that of amobarbital, the only difference being that the alkylation of α-ethylmalonic ester is carried out with 2-bromopentane in place of 1-bromo-3-methylbutane to give pentobarbital.

Amobarbital (5-ethyl-5-isoamylbarbituric acid), like all barbiturates, is synthesized by reacting malonic acid derivatives with urea derivatives. In particular, in order to make amobarbital, α-ethyl-α-isoamylmalonic ester is reacted with urea (in the presence of sodium ethoxide)

It does not appear to be that complex, but does require lots of not-so-common reagents, I think. You can find all the reagents in chemical companies, but I don't think they'll sell to private people (only to industry etc). So before purchasing the book and lab equipment see if you can even buy or make 2-bromopentane or sodium ethoxide. (EtO is ethylene oxide).

This post not a guide and does not contain any instructions, just basic info straight from Wikipedia.

"Nembutal" was coined by John S. Lundy, who started using it in 1930, from the structural formula of the sodium salt—Na (sodium) + ethyl + methyl + butyl + al (common suffix for barbiturates)

Generally organic synthesis gives fairly low overall yields of the product that you want. A reaction like this usually give about 40% of the compound you are making. It would be very costly to purchase all of the compounds needed to yield a small amount of product.

Demand for cocaine is maybe hundreds of millions time more than for N and can be sold to the same person over and over. Compare that to N.

This seems like a bad idea even if you were a great chemist and figured it all out. Many governments watch purchases of lab equipment. A friend of mine spent 3 years in prison because people were watching his ebay account as he bought supplies for making DMT and ectasy.

Pentobarbitone. (Called Nembutal or Pentobarbital.) 26.7 g of clean metallic sodium are dissolved in 400 g of anhydrous (dry) ethanol. To this, a solution of 100 g of 1-methyl butyl-ethyl malonic ester and 37.2 g of dry urea is added. The mixture is heated for 4 to 6 hours in an autoclave, or refluxed for 20 to 40 hours. The alcohol is then removed by distillation. The residue is dissolved in water and this aqueous solution is acidified with hydrochloric acid. The precipitated product is filtered, washed with cold water, and recrystallized from boiling water. Yield: depends on your ability to exclude H2O from the beginning of the reaction, mp: 127-130°C.
