Since english is not my native language I was wondering if anyone could help me with the information of the units of mass that I read in a book. It says "The amount required is 10 gm." Does gm mean grams or milligram?
Thank you in advace.

Very strange to see gram contracted to gm. But that does seem more likely than milligram, which would be mg.

I thought the same and wanted to make extra sure. Where I m from we use mg for milligram and gr from gram. So thank you !
