Does wrapping your preferred ligament (for reference i'm using an electrical cord) around a doorknob, then kneeling to ctb work? Or is putting the ligament around the door preferred? My door doesn't have a lock and swings around but i think that as i'm kneeling my feet can be against the door pushing it so it doesn't swing around? And it seems that the only anchor point i have is my door. Does this work? I need help and advice.
I'm not sure what you're hoping to hear. Can it work? Yes. Is it reliable? No.
Extension cords, if they are thick, are likely strong enough. It's just awkward to tie knots in them, and they can be too short. Better to get a rope.
Door knobs can be okay, but they are usually too low. Is it high enough that you can do it in a high kneeling position without the risk of you ending up sitting?
I could give you more practical, concrete tips, but judging by your posts (this one and the
previous one), it seems like a rushed attempt and an impulsive decision, which is unlikely to end well.
If your posts show that you've thought this over, already done some research, and have some kind of plan, then you're more likely to get replies, I think.
