I used this company too. all you have to do is create an account and activate it, then go to a store and give them your account's details and ask for a nitrogen cylinder 40 liters, their lowest purity will do probably

Thank you so much for the reply!
They say that they also deliver online so that's a possible option for anyone looking into that company who doesn't have easy access to transportation. Would you happen to know any details on what regulator to get from them?

I got a regulator from amazon, they use a standard us outlet. Make sure to get one with flow rate either the ball meter or click type should do latter is more expensive or harbor freight

I made an account but there is some sorta form to fill out? Can I do that at the store when I go to buy some?? I don't have a printer of course.
If they ask what it's for what is the most feasible thing?

I set up an account online but can I do the rest at the store when I pick it up? I'd assume they'd have copies of the forms at their desk??
I'm also naive about the cylinders- rent ? Buy? Huh?? Should I just rent a tank and have it filled there all at once??
https://www.harborfreight.com/co2argon-flow-gauge-regulator-58468.html Would this work also?

The form asks for ss# and stuff - I'm confused as to how to best fill it out. Lease? Rent? DUNS#????

Sry I have no idea. All I did was call to request a 40cf & then I went to pick it up. I never made an account & they never asked me to. I mean, are you planning to return the cylinder when you're done with it? Otherwise it would be best to buy.
I'm sure that flow gauge is fine but I'm only familiar with the cylindrical flowmeter type, and I bought mine for half that price with tubing included on Amazon.

Not planning to return it obviously but aren't the tanks alone super expensive? Just trying to find the cheapest options but their website doesn't give details without having an approved account
Is it ok if I send you a private message?

How much did it cost you including the cost for the cylinder? I was thinking of getting UHP80. Do you this this would fit on the back seat of a civic?

I think I spent under $350 for everything including exit bag materials. Idk, but keep in mind it can't be rolling around back there or falling over, it has to be secured somehow & kept upright. My 40 is not light, I wouldn't have been able to get it into my place without a cart on wheels which also kept it contained & secure for the drive. Maybe go take a look at it irl & see the dimensions & how heavy you find it before deciding how you want to handle getting it home.

Thanks for the reply! Didn't know it has to be kept upright. I was thinking of lying it horizontally on the back seat and securing it with the seat belts... Will the guys at Airgas not give me the cylinder if I try to do that? Sorry for the stupid questions😭

Um, well, they're not supposed to 😂, they're supposed to make sure you know how to transport it safely. Apparently the cylinders can explode, and nobody wants that. Really I think your best bet is go inspect it in person & maybe ask what they recommend. I think the best way to get it home is in a cart on wheels of some kind, but they may recommend something else. Worst case scenario, you buy a cart & borrow or rent a bigger vehicle for the occasion.

I see🥲 What kind of vehicle did you use for picking up the gas? And how did you secure it upright?

A larger vehicle, the tank stayed in its box & went right into my cart, the cart is almost the same height as the cylinder, it kept it secure for the drive, and it's going to remain in the cart when I CTB, because it'll keep the cylinder from getting knocked over.
