I have gone full schizophrenic

I want to do it in a form of a bigger thread since I want other people to share their stories too.

Aside from autism I got a really bad case of eczema all over my body. All of these spots are constantly itchy and cause me a lot of problems. I often get giant skin lesions that cause bleeding and excruciating pain. When I'm at home I literally just wear latex glove on one of my hands to lock in the moisture and prevent it from drying because of how painful it is. Also it just looks disgusting as fuck, like someone poured an acid on me. None of the treatments worked so far, it always comes back stronger and more annoying than before. I can't count how many times I scratched it until I saw blood and then had to wear a bandaid for some time. The worst part is that I can't even blame myself for this, it's a genetic disorder that popped up randomly about 3 years ago and bothers me until this day. I hate it so fucking much and I'm ashamed of how my body looks because of it, and it's only gonna get worse.

I have Autism too. I was also diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2024 and that's been hard to deal with mentally and physically. I'm in pain all the time now🙁

What are the symptoms? I've never heard of it.
(you don't have to answer if you're not comfortable with it btw.)

no worries i love answering :) its an endocrine and metabolic disorder that makes your androgens too high, and the high androgens cause things like really oily skin and lots of acne, excess hair growth and insulin resistance (and the insulin resistance causes other problems like weight gain that feels uncontrollable).

unfortunately there hasn't been a lot of research on it until really recently and it's only now that they're starting to find correlation with other health issues like very bad sleep problems and constant fatigue.

my problem is that it's usually also related with obesity so doctors will tell you to lose weight and then figure things out, but i used to be pretty skinny when i got diagnosed so they didn't have much to tell me other than taking birth control.

there are cases where you also get pretty big ovarian cysts (which is why it was called Polycistic Ovarian Syndrome before) and those can be really painful, they can "inflate" inside and make you look very bloated, or sometimes they rupture and it hurts a lot. back when i got diagnosed when i was 14 i had 21 cysts T–T

the perk is that back when i was pretty active at the gym i had bigger biceps than half of my male friends lol

I'm a medical mystery 🙃 keep hoping for answers but nothing for 6 years so far…

I'm bipolar 2 with severe anxiety/panic disorder. But what's really been making shit harder is the new stuff. Severe gastrointestinal distress, random intense pains in random places anywhere in my body that last anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes, a LOT of unexplained weight gain, heart palpitations randomly, hot flashes, and debilitating back pain. I can't stand for more than 10 minutes now, which has decreased my quality of life a lot. I used to hike for half a day just for fun. The gastrointestinal stuff is the worst though. Waking up 3-5 times at night in level 7-8 pain, and having 5-10 bowel mvmts a day is really inhibiting on activity… combine with the back pain is just 🫠

That sounds fucking horrible, I'm sorry you have to go through this. I wish there was some cure for this but I doubt we'll ever see it in our lifetime.

6 years and no answers at all? Like not a single person figured out what's wrong?
