• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I've been trying to hang myself with partial suspension and have been having the hardest goddamn time getting the noose to sit where it needs to be on my neck. I know it needs to be putting pressure on my cartoid arteries, but it keeps going lower, like around where my adam's apple would be if I were a male. So, instead of putting pressure on my arteries, it is cutting off my airflow which is frustrating and uncomfortable. What am I doing wrong???

I found my sweet spot was actually below my Adam's apple. The problem is I would pass out and then be frantically trying to stand again.

I couldn't pass out above my Adam's apple because my sternocleidomastoid muscle was so tense from adrenaline and fear from my medical condition.

Everyone is different.

When I did partial, I would lean into the rope a little to see if I had the right spot. If my vision started dimming and I felt dizzy I would then lean in with my full weight. If you keep a small amount of constant pressure on the rope, it should not slide down your neck.
