Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Once I was in a very desperate situation. I lost all my money for rent and living. I knew my gf has much money and saves much. I asked her for 100 euro which I would ofc return, she said no, then I asked her mom she said no. And after that, I will never forget it, my gf accused me of asking money and said that was disgusting to ask a gf for such a thing.

Sometimes the more you have the less you want to sacrifice. I remember getting sent home from hospital once to an empty house with no food and too ill to go shopping. The taxi driver helped me up the drive and got me settled and gave me his lunch. I could see he wanted to do more. I was so grateful made me cry bless him.

Damn, I forgot what were my posts for.
Talking something bad about pro-choice websites does not solve anything.
Talking about suicide and homelessness does not solve anything.
We forgot that we are humans, not just homo sapiens.
It reduced me to tears and gave me a little strength, enough to carry on fighting. At the hospital they didn't listen, but he did. I bet people are tired of me saying it but hey. If we all listened properly then we might have more than a few hundred years left as a species.

Not sure about today, it has seemed quieter in that respect, but recently, yes, definately.
And now they read that, they will change tactic. It's all pretty obvious when it happens though. A fake always reveals itself eventually.

I think I only got approved today so I am under suspicion as much as anyone else but there was two threads I saw which made me wonder as they seemed to trivialise. I dont want to point them out as if they are true and that is how people feel then they have a right to feel that way the same as i do but i just wondered if anyone else had similar thoughts - particularly those that have been on the forum for a while.
I'm a long time guest lurker and recent member who still lurks. Facebook is renowned for shit like this, people who don't understand. Spam report the group and it should soon be taken down.

Hah.. so now I'm starting to think.. who's "they'' who are vulnerable and who's "they'' who are ignorant? Are we vulnerable at first, and then become ignorant to newcomers? I'm confused lol
Bugger me that really does say it all doesn't it. To think I favoured a rational discorse. What an astounding level of ignorance...or something.
Edit. It was a troll wasn't it? Oh now my head hurts!

Funny enough (sadly) when. I opened up facebook to check on the group this is the first thing I see on my feed:
Why don't they go after the hotlines thet have failed so many?
Yes I know they're "whole point" is the two girls but just a THOUGHT
Edit: I want to share this there but I'm not posting ANYTHING argumentive. My cover isn't going anywhere lmao
They have no idea what they're really campaigning for tbh. They're just doing what their moral compass tells them to do so they can feel better about their own shitty existence. They don't really care about us or anyone else. If they did they'd look at reasons behind suicide, what can they do to help change stigma etc.

Hello friends, I've been half reading this thread throughout the day, lots of replies and lots of emotion, read this don't read this; whatever.
There are so many people on both sides of this debate that are in emotional (and physical) pain and so much anger.
When we've lost someone close we are looking for someone to blame (as happened with the discussions we had around the BBC not long ago).
I'm sure I'm repeating something that has been said many times already but this site is not the cause of any conditions that people suffer from. Those that have been abused, discriminated against, laid off, blackmailed, bullied, drowned in debt... None of that happened here.
Those that were failed by care providers, family, friends, neighbours and strangers... None of that happened here either.
The world is a cruel and insidious place for many. I have found understanding and peace here in a way my 'real life' cannot provide and this is a story repeated so many times if we look without judgement.
It is not your right to tell me what to do with my life any more than it is your right to cause me pain and suffering and neglect.
In a world so ugly with hate, and people looking for blame, I seek understanding and redemption and above all kindness to ourselves, each other and the world we're borrowing from the future.
Love is the only thing that can beat hate, and for all of the awful things that life has thrown at me I still choose love, respect and understanding.
Peace brothers and sisters.
