Venting Hanging is scary

Hanging is scary, I start hyperventilating a little before even touching the rope.
Searched for some videos to familiarize myself with it, didn't help much.
Helium is the dream, but lots of people talk about how Helium isn't pure, that it has added Oxygen so it won't kill you, idk if I believe that but..
Pills would be easier to get, the action is more natural, maybe I'll look into it later, but as I know it's not as fast.
Anyway, feeling defeated, alive for another day, because I'm an anxious overthinker. Maybe some alcohol would help, idk.
It's hard to accept I'm not ready for it and that maybe it was just drama, but for now I'm done.

If pills are "easy to get", it means it won't work with those. Suicide with over-the-counter medication rarely ever works and you would do yourself a disservice by trying to poison yourself with those. It depends on the pill, but even the more difficult to get pills, are unlikely to ever succeed with. Along with cutting it's probably one of the worst ways to attempt suicide.

No, it wouldn't. Alcohol as a way to drown your sorrows in, is always a bad idea. Just take a look at all the people who tried it and look whom it helped. To say "I will kill myself either way, so it doesn't matter" as intuitive as it sounds, is a rather unhelpful attitude, since you never know when you actually die and when you sedate yourself in such ways, you might outlive your expectations by far and probably just do more harm to yourself without any upside.

Can say from experience the one time I tried,no you don't. You feel the strangulation as you slowly lose consciousness. It's not fun.
