Bumping. I plan to CTB in a hotel room but with partial suspension. It would be kinda embarrassing if I were to spend all my money to get a hotel room only to not find a suitable anchor point there

seems like there would be no way to really know until you got the room. i don't see how it could be viable without testing.

For me I don't want the resell value of the property I do it in to go down. And preferable not traumatize anyone. Don't want the hotel to have a bad reputation because of me either so I'm now thinking of using a tree.

LMAO that's funny but makes perfect sense. Honestly I feel bad putting the hotel staff in that situation (i intend on apologizing to them in my note right at the top) but I'd much rather traumatize strangers than my family.

As for the anchor points, I've found images of the bar where the shower curtain is hanged from, that could work. Alternatively if the closet has a metal bar inside it that'd be even better. But obviously no hotel is photographing the inside of their closets

It's easier to traumatize strangers but probably would rather try not anyone. That's someone's mother or father who has to go home to their kid and have to deal with their trauma they witnessed. And I didn't want to impact someone's business. Hurting someone's business means the employees suffer to. Rather just do it in the woods and send the first responders my way
