I don't think you'd really be able to scream but I've read forensic articles where people are found with something tied around their mouth so I guess some people are concerned enough about that. Up to you. If you live close to other people consider the precaution. But yeah I don't think you'd be able to make much noise in full suspension.

No but you breath loud and make gurgling noises. If you wake up from being unconscious after a couple minutes you will yell, moan and thrash/slam about. I did after my belt snapped. Waking up wasn't pretty.

One thing that happens is your arms and legs thrash about some when hanging, so that if you are within a few feet of a wall or door your arms or legs will likely keep banging into the wall or door for a while, making noise- this often leads to people being rescued and the attempt to ctb to fail. Hanging works best is a person has a house to themselves, but apartments and hotels get dicier.

Yep…I was thinking of hotel for more time but I'm not sure if they will hear me or if they will have a good anchor point. Can't ask to see if they room is good for hanging lol

How much time is unknown, but I have seen estimates that say to allow 20 to 30 minutes- I heard of one case of a person recovering fully after 20 minutes, but this is rare I am pretty sure. Most hotel rooms do not have a good place to hang yourself. I have heard of couple of celebrities doing this in a hotel over a bathroom door or in a closet, but one advantage they have is that they can afford to rent a huge suite at a really fancy hotel and even if they door bang against the door or wall because their room is so huge no one hears them.

True about famous people, I'll be in some holiday inn BS. Maybe the next room with just think it's someone having sex for a few mins. Maybe a portable door pull up bar. I've read about them reviving people at 60 mins, of course this people didn't make it but were in the hospital in coma or machines for hours or days.

I really don't think so. But your body will probably thrash about for a while before your death, so that will make a lot of noise.

Different sources say different things and contradict each other, but combining what they all say... To be completely safe, have 30 minutes all for yourself. You will lose consciousness immediately (if you do it right, if blood flow is not completely cut off it can be around 15 seconds, if you're hanging for more than one minute try again), I heard that you will thrash about for 5 to 7 minutes (but take that with a grain of salt), death occurs in 15 to 20 minutes.
