Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

we often talk on her about how society accepts the vet heping your pets get peace and end their suffering when they can't be helped anymore.
but they don't have the same view when it comes to humans.

i just found out that only 8 or 10% of dogs pass away naturally.
meaning that 85% to 90% of all dogs get medically put down.

that's an insanely high number.
and we are just like dogs, we also get incurable disabilities.
but we have to suffer and "TougHEn Up SolDieR".

here's a copy paste:
Large-scale veterinary data tracking how dogs pass away shows that roughly 85% to 90% of senior dogs follow the path of gradual decline, which usually leads the family to make the difficult choice of humane euthanasia to prevent suffering. Only about 8% to 10% of dogs pass away naturally and suddenly on their own.

Yep our society is just built by pro lifer standards and beliefs that makes CTB to be seen as a harmful thing. So many family members get upset when one of their loved ones CTB, but do they ever give much attention to said individual before he/she took such a drastic measure. Why said individual decides to CTB without telling anyone, if only CTB isn't seen as an immoral taboo and illegal maybe more impulsive CTB could've been prevented.
Also family refusing to help with VAD even though the individual requesting might have chronic illness, but they just have to keep going and eventually suffer from their chronic illness or disabilty(yay society is so "kind"). Making it harder to CTB doesn't change anything, it only make things worse for some people and for others just prolonging their suffering. But ofc it's okay for government to do that just to look moral, while doing thousands of other immoral stuff including preventing people from having rights over their own well being.

i wouldn't believe anything chatgpt says when it comes to stats or facts. where's the source?? i've seen way too many people on this site using chatgpt like google and it's just not comparable.
