It's indeed a historical celebrity, but he was neither Russian nor crazy. As for the clues in the picture, he won the Nobel prize and suffered from reoccurring depressions which he called "the black dog". (Modern retro-diagnoses suggest that he was bipolar.)

Its extremely extremely annoying isn't it, I tried that the other day, I tried commenting on another thread, logging out nothing seems to work!

Studio, I feel like this is something obvious, but I can't find it. Do I understand correctly that a broken pencil in this case has some kind of figurative meaning?

UPD: Or maybe it's Keanu Reeves and a pencil represents John Wick then (and the others are The Gift and The Devil's Advocate)?
