@Meteora yes of course, but asides from the fact that she sent me additional info regarding this, I'm also thinking that in her state hopefully she won't be too concerned with answering on here (wonder as we might) as she's in critical condition with the police nearby looking to obtain any remaining SN.

Don't stress yourself on it now. Your body just went through a great deal of truma. You are one resilient and determined soul, I gotta say! Take care of yourself now and get the much needed rest.

Thank you guys for all the goodbye messages but unfortunately I somehow survived. My dog had a doorbell to go outside for a wee and he was pressing the doorbell for a while which alerted my neighbours :/ I'm currently in ICU and I've had 5 doses of methylene blue and my sats aren't coming up
very sorry to hear about this :( no one deserves to fail

Mhm not too good im just mad that im alive tbh - woke up 2 hours ago with a breathing tube down my throat which wasn't fun and my chest is really hurting

My chest is sore from cpr my breathing feels horrible my arms are sore from all the ABGs and VBGs but they put an art line in so they dont have to stab me every 30 mins. I can hardly breathe with the high flow of oxygen its blowing my brains out its that powerful, Ive got a really bad headache and my throat is sore
Welcome back

Was the SN experience really that unpleasant?

Painful at all?

Was it quite peaceful?
I'd ask that we just hold off on questions like this for now until the op feels ready to respond, her attempt was less than 24 hrs ago and they've been through so much since then so giving her space right now is what I ask, please.

@Dark Window Whilst I appreciate you'd rather hear it from the horses mouth I can say that having spoke ongoing with her whilst she was taking it she did say multiple times that she was surprised as to just how peaceful it was. She hadn't taken any benzos but the propranolol kept her heart rate around 120-130bpm up until her last post before she said she was gonna pass out. Only around that time did she start feeling a little dizzy and saying something about blurred vision. She actually doesn't remember anything after getting home from the taxi. She and many others have basically said that it tastes very salty, not nice but bearable. She never felt sick.

The unfortunate moral we all hear time after time is to make sure you're not gonna be interrupted. Unfortunately presumably her state of mind before taking the SN meant that the regime was perfectly executed but she got rescued through potentially avoidable circumstances. I can only hope that whatever she plans after being readmitted to the psych ward will not go wrong again and that she has no lasting damage.

THE FINAL LESSON HERE IS TO NEVER TAKE SN IN THE PRESENCE OF A DOG AS THEY WILL RAISE THE ALARM INSIDE OR OUTSIDE YOUR HOUSE WHEN YOU'RE INACTIVE.

I took away my terrier's "need to pee" bell after a few weeks as she quickly learnt to use it to get my attention if all else failed. I've warned people off them ever since.

Hope you're feeling as well as you can under the circumstances.

This is milo's doorbell but he doesn't use it much he just stands there and cries so i'm wondering if he was using the bell to get someone's attention because he knew something was wrong with me 😳 if it was then dogs are so smart

I guess the saying 'Dog is a (wo)man's best friend' sometimes doesn't always work out so. Humans don't understand all the things dogs do and clearly suicide is something dogs don't get either.

Having said that, I passed out years ago and came to on the cold kitchen tiles in an even colder puddle of my own urine. My dog at the time was keeping a watchful eye on me ... from the warm and dry comfort of the hallway carpet 🙄

I checked my security cameras at 7:28 that's when my neighbour was banging at my door and listening through my letter box shouting calling me selfish for being a nuisance and letting my dog bark ahahah and at 7:35 that's when police arrived

from my updates it seemed painless - i can't really remember anything though so i can't give a precise answer. But alls i can say is the aftermath isn't painless it's a lot of pain
