Hi! It's me again, the girl who wants SN but has a debit card that won't function. Not to mention the life altering anxiety (and Tourettes) that make it hard to navigate public.
Today I did something! I went to the bank. I've gone almost 2 months now without my debit card because I've been too scared to call my bank (nonetheless GO there). Today I determined that I can withdraw cash even if my card doesn't work, but it does have to be in person.
So I did it.
I managed to get cash out of my account (though the teller definitely thought I was on drugs due to my tics).
Even better news? I'll have a new card in 10 days. I can order SN.
Bittersweet I guess.

It feels good to get things sorted. Due to mental conditions I can spend months where I rarely get out of bed. It's ironic that the one thing that galvanises me at present is anything connected with my plans to ctb. So yes. Bittersweet indeed.

It's interesting what our brains yearn for. I guess there truly is a drive to end it, and it surpasses everything else

At least having the SN means you will have a way to exit this world at a time of your choosing. I hope you find the peace you are looking for.
