So I woke up to this wonderful thread, and everything has been said. Just to reiterate, people are skeptic in order to protect this forum, not out of any evil purpose.

@Blackjack, wanted to throw in that I think there is a difference between polling for age like you did vs for your worst deeds, worst fears, etc. The worst fears poll, for instance, was created by a user who eventually got banned.

La Perla as I stated before, there have been some threads of late that have been started to cause a riot and draw attention to SS.
I'm not looking for friends on here but I've made some. For us to be joined on a forum like this where our lives are a living hell is something rather sweet.

Lol I know really well what this type of people like to read and the replies they like to get.. Its so easy to manipulate them and make them THINK you are a perfect person or someone with good intentions or their FRIEND.

Also wanted to add, about all this 'If they were trying to bait, they would earn trust first' argument. The suspicion is not that they have the intention of snooping by gaining trust, it is all in the open anyway. The suspicion is that they are trying to gather evidence that this forum hands methods out like candy to people in crisis, minors, etc.

When we can't separate that opinion from the person we walk into some rally murky waters. Imagine a scenario where a ruthless dictator like Josef Stalin is responsible for finding the cure for cancer and wants to give it globally, for free to all sufferers. Then imagine Mary Poppins saying that this cure should cost people £1 million pounds per person. Can you separate the opinion from the person?

I don't need or want defending. The opinion needs to be 'attacked' or defended. And this thread has just basically lost that which in itself is a crime.

Getting accounts like this banned is somewhat pointless. Their account or accounts get banned. Then they pop up in a few hours as a new member and then the wheel turns one more time and we are back to square one.

I was reading today about a new phenomena on the internet called "sadfishing".. This site withe people and all their personal struggles whether it be physical or mental is rife for those type of people and the predators that feed upon it. Regardless of my humour before, I am truly saddened that the principle and objective of the original message has now been belittled and tainted by what transpired after.
