I need to figure out if this is a good idea. Is it? Why? Why not? I want to numb my SI.

What is the method?

Gonna hang myself so it dosent matter about mixing anything. Maybe its a stupid question. It dosent rly matter i guess. Thought Id see what ppl say. I dont have any other ways to get the final courage.

It's whatever works for you I guess, nobody but you can be the judge of how you react with a few drinks

I don't think it was dumb at all. I thought it was quite thoughtful to think about it. different people have different thoughts about how to overcome SI. Alcohol is the easiest to get hold of. Depends whether you are likely to become more emotional or not with a few drinks in you. Especially if you are doing something that requires you to be able to do things with your hands or the method is somewhat technical in nature. Most people think about it so I would not at all beat yourself up on hearing how other people think about overcoming it.

Yeah thanks. Ideally id overcome it without anything. But easier said than done. I dont have anything else though, so it might be the only way.

You are not the first to have this issue. Conversation helps all.
If everything is prepared when sober, being drunk might be what is needed to finish.

Drink if you want. I know I'd wind up asleep, laughing my ass off at Deadly Towers because "I know how you feel, bro!", or just being incompetent enough that I fail.

I think when you know the time is right is when you can go through with it. For me I will be making a list of my reasons and reading it to remind me how I got here. Hoping that the logic of it will help me through.

I'm very much of a coward and scared of dying but alcohol heled me tremendously when I attempted with SI. But Partial isnt always easy to begin with and it gets harder when drunk so there is a downside depending on the method

Depends on the method, my method (SN) I'll be using benzos and beta blockers for combatting the SI, and a sedative effect coming from my antiemetic

It's the reason why I was quite seriously looking at GHB at one time to cbt. The regimen to make it work is actually getting drunk. Can't get better then that!
