Method Gardenal overdose?

I'm still weighing my options as I'd rather go for a non gruesome method (mainly for the sake ot my family and whoever finds me).

Unfortunately it seems I have no way of acquiring Sn. Gardenal may be an option though, it is a medicine used to treat epilepsy and contains phenobarbital. How much would it take to for it to be lethal? Any pointers are appreciated.

PPH recommends a dose of 10g (10,000mg). Each of those pills is 60mg. So you would theoretically need 10,000/60 = 167 pills. This looks like a "once daily" pill which means it is probably slow-release. To even have a chance, you would need to crush them into a fine powder. It is a lot of substance to get down all at once. I think vomiting would be likely.

Crushing time-released pills doesn't really work as a concept. I enquired on the Bluelight (drug user) forum. They know much more about suchlike than us.
