Gabapentin usage

Hi everyone,

I am not sure if this is all right to ask over here but very curious. What do people know about Gabapentin overdoses? Is this a thing? What does it look like to overdose on Gabapentin with Prozac and maybe Depakote? Maybe do it in a bathtub?

Curious about what would happen if this would lead to CTB.

It would likely be extremely difficult to overdose on gabapentin. The more you take of the drug, the less of it is absorbed.

the oral bioavailability of gabapentin is inversely proportional to the administered dose - the oral bioavailability of a 900mg/day regimen is approximately 60%, whereas a 4800mg/day regimen results in only 27% bioavailability.16,18

The drug doesn't have that strong of an effect, which is part of why it's so readily prescribed.
Extremely high doses are not enough to kill rats:

It has a wide therapeutic index, with doses in excess of 8000 mg/kg failing to cause a fatal reaction in rats.21

Fuck really yeah I can tell because I take a bunch every day and its not a big deal. Damn it I just wish I could do the bathtub method with something that could work.
Very random I just got a nurse from one of the hospitals I had visited a while back checking in on me. Super wild. I told her I took a bunch of gabapentin. So weird the coincidence of someone from a hospital just calling me right when Im in the middle of doing this.
