For how much money would you never visit SS (or any other suicide forum) again?

It is a permanent decision. This is a really difficult one. Give me 200 euros per month and I will go for it. Poverty is a main reason for my suicide. With a lot of research there is probably still the opportunity to find enough information about suicide. But it is way more convenient to have a place like this. When I use google search they don't show helpful information at the front pages. And I really like the helpful discussions and in general the help/empathy I receive. However I am really desperate for money.
I really think this forum is really helpful and important.

Difficult to say. Unlike you I have a high paid job (for my country) and I still want to ctb

If you gave me 2 million dollars so I could be a bed ridden NEET I would do it. But at the same time, old age terrifies me, once my parents are dead I don't have any excuse to not do it. All the money in the world isn't enough for me if I have to keep up with the suffering of old age

This is a good question. I think there would be an amount that might stop me visiting but to be honest, I'm not here just for my finances, I'm here because I've lost the love of my life. I could be rich, but would still have lost her.

Now I've seen the people that come here and post, there is no amount of money. This is a truly unique area.

Depends on if I can be hypocrites like them. Working against pro-choice but if life turns out to be hell still commiting suicide. Like most pro-lifers when they face a fate like many on this page.

I don't think I'd agree to any amount. Suicide forums allow for research and resources a peaceful euthanasia. Money can't fix all problems and I have no idea what will happen in 10, 20, 50 years. Point is I like having the option.

I think the saying money can't buy you happiness is really true. Yes, it would be nice, but you'd still be lonely, you'd still feel the same, think the same. Unless money is the root cause of your problems, it's not going to fix anything. Perhaps the opposite, how guilty would you feel knowing you have all the money in the world and you still aren't happy, yet there are people barely scraping by with what they have. I suppose like when people tell you that you have nothing to be sad about, yet you're still sad.

This place has helped me tremendously when it came to mental health treatment that I don't think any amount of money can convince me to stop using this site. I may go on hiatus for awhile until I get close to the edge again, and then come visit for a bit, then leave again. To eliminate it completely would be really hard. Rich people have problems too and suicide for other reasons than financial.

Like 5 million, I would try my best to improve myself if I knew I would never have to work again and I could just be a neet until I die.

I think with that amount of money I could cope without this site.

$10,000. With this money I can start all over again. I move to another city with my mother and buy a guitar and start music again. I would like to move on with my life so as not to die before my mother. If my mother wasn't alive, I would do CTB tonight. Now I have to live as long as I can. Life is so silly. Some people's 1 day allowance can save someone else's life :)

Not necessarily about leaving the forum, but no amount of money could persuade me that life is worthwhile, and I'd always choose to die peacefully if it was 100% guaranteed.
