Flavored drinks and SN

Just wondering if anyone knows how drinking flavored drinks like soft drink before SN affects how well it works?

Like if I drank cordial 2 hours before taking it? Does the same theory apply as to stopping clear liquids? Or do I need to wait longer?

I guess I'm asking - if I'm fasted, but I drank some cordial - how long should I wait until it's ok to take SN?

Yeah no I'm not talking alcohol, I just mean like drinks that aren't just water
