Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

What ideas do some of you have to prevent your body being found by family? I live alone but without hearing from me for a few days it is very likely family would be the first to find me. Ideas I have are:
- delayed message to police (this means the suicide is clearly intentional)
- inviting a more hardened friend over, or perhaps some service (plumber etc.), but I have to ensure they won't arrive before my family do (family often turn up at random).

I am thinking of using the shallow water blackout method in the bath and hoping that it looks like I fell asleep, but actually I have another dilema here, whether it is better for it to seem accidental or not? I feel there are some poeple in my life I would want to know the truth of what I have done, I don't know why I care about this but, I guess I see this as a kind of final self expression to some extent. I think if a close friend died I would want to know, I would want to know what they were thinking in those final moments and for them to be open with me, even if it was agony for me to hear.

I think it's more staight forward if you're ok with people knowing it was suicide. A delayed email seems wise. I think I would actually email my solicitor- asking them to inform the police. I can't actually find an email for my local police! I reckon I'd attach everything in attachments to my solicitor- my notes to loved ones etc. I've heard the police don't always pass them on. Plus- I've heard they scan emails for words like 'suicide'. Although- would they really do it before they send?

The whole accidental death, I've never been that convinced about. Like- wouldn't people always wonder whether it was a suicide anyway? I imagine they would perform an autopsy. Would you plan to take anything to help? Obviously- a delayed email is out in that case. I guess you could invite a friend over but somehow- prevent them from entering- lock the door or something. I don't know- I think it would be pretty traumatic for a friend really.
