If you are open to chatting with someone about your experience, you can try RAINN. I hear that they are pretty good for sources when it comes to people who are raped to either cope or seek legal action on the perpetrator.
Get some Z's, it will clear your mind and then you can make an informed decision.

You're not stupid at all. I think anyone would struggle with the trauma of that. I'm so sorry. I hope you can settle your mind soon. I have to listen to stuff to get to sleep. It helps to stop me worrying. YouTube has loads of stuff- guided meditations, rain and nature sounds. Not everyone likes it but ASMR. You could try that.

I hope the rapist knows they are a POS and that they lose sleep over it for the rest of their life. A friend who was raped many years ago continues to have severe insomnia and stress at night. They are not open to groups, any type of peer support, or therapy but they take lots of meds and it has only been a little helpful.
Idk if you've already explored outside supports or if you are open to it, but like @Lulzacruel mentioned, there are 24-hour hotlines and online forums to talk to people about what you are going thru, if you want to.
