Right-wingers in America apparently know Hebrew, so they think my nickname comes from Adonai, but it doesn't! It's from Adûnâim, the Númenóreans, in their Adûnâic tongue. It's obscure, I'll grant you that, and only those who play the Divide & Conquer mod for Medieval 2 Total War will recognise it (although to my credit, I had assumed this name almost a decade before the name was chosen in the game).

The girl who I respect seems to have understood my nickname, or at least appeared to - which is absolutely insane.

And my profile picture is another proof of my fake nature because I don't even play Warcraft 3, let alone the blood mage. I kind of wanted to in the past.

I thought this would be an interesting thread. For me, my username is simple, I think platypus are cool. They are very odd and cute animals. My profile picture is punpun from goodnight punpun, my favorite manga. It holds a special place in my heart and I could probably talk about it for hours.

I'm not actually sure why I had picked the name I did. I like how it sounds and can ride off your tongue, it also goes with my name on most of my other social medias haha. I picked my profile picture because well I enjoy the colors and it's meant to resemble blood which I've always had a weird fascination with, and the saying is quite relatable. Not all that interesting

"Myopia" is another term for "nearsightedness," which I feel is the perfect metaphor for how depression shapes my worldview. I can only see the situation right in front of me, any future seems blurry and impossible. Therefore, I am focused on CTB, an action I can take now to escape this misery, rather than hanging onto the hope of some "hypothetical better life" down the line.

My pfp is Sasha from Victoria Francés book Misty Circus. He's an androgynous, sensitive ten year old who was abandoned by his father when his mother died. Since he was bullied for his androgynous looks, his only friend is a black stray cat named Josh. I deeply relate to him still, despite being over 30. Plus I really vibe with that style of art.
