"Ringo" means apple, I like apples. "Ringo", that's the name of a moon rabbit who cooks mochi, I like mochi. "Ringo"/Golden, that's the lockseed based on the forbidden fruit and has knight motif, I love knights and is one of my favorite collectibles in all the figure lines where it is included. I would have loved to get one from any line, they are all super articulated, so they are perfect for stop motion. Uh, I think I got a little sidetracked from the question, I just really like apples and golden, shiny shiny.

Nintendo lost half a billion dollars during their Year of Luigi promotion and I just thought that was really funny. And in general I really like Luigi cause he's a silly little guy.

I chose my name before the whole UHC CEO thing and I think it's funny that my name has kinda taken on an another meaning. With all the buzz around Luigi Mangione's trial it kinda is the year of Luigi :P

 

[Sunü (素女)]

I based mine on a character that I intended to roleplay as, and that character's name is based on the ancient Chinese goddess: Sunü. I thought it'd be a good reference since my roleplaying partner was also a reference to the Huangdi, the fabled Yellow Emperor. In the roleplay, we planned on marrying the two to unite both families and increase both their powers. He'd be the husband that would slowly lose his sanity from work, and she'd be his comfort through it. I also had other characters that would try to complicate it and backstab each other for power. It was fun to daydream about, but I never got to actually roleplay it out. I was too unproductive.

I had a good cast of characters to pick from, but I think I chose Sunü as my name here because I planned on her committing suicide later in the RP. I think it was a mix from the abuse from her husband and the isolation from her family. Her abusive father dies and her brother goes two-faced and wants her husband dead to accrue more power. She'd die hanging by a tree near a creek because of it all. Also, the profile picture that I chose is her; I like the imagine her having those silent, contemplative moments about what to do.

But in all seriousness, my name comes from my father calling me A Rat, because he refuses to call me by my actual name. He does it to remind me how much of a burden I am to him.

One that is most comfortable with being on his own, even if it costs hurting everyone that has ever loved him and cared about him, just so that he can have some peace of mind.

No more getting betrayed or hurt or disappointed from anyone anymore, no more high expectations to be met, no more being used or not feeling enough for anyone or going through life just for someone anymore, he's sick of it all.

Side note, the name is dark, the est is because the name was taken.
And definitely not inspired from dark matter haha!

Mine is reference to the novel "Flowers for Algernon" by Daniel Keyes. It's about a man with a low IQ who takes part in a surgery that is meant to make him smarter. But as it turns out, the effects are only temporary. The book follows the main character's miserable decline from intelligence to mental disability. That's how I've been feeling like for some time.
