Hello guys, long time no see!

So I carried out an experiment with DMSO and SN, and almost killed myself, but because it was an experiment and I didn't want to die, I drove myself to the ER and nurses told me I passed out at the entrance. Don't remember much after that other than what my wife and staff told me when I came to. I didn't dream, I didn't experience any NDE's, just darkness, and just a light switch, I wake up. I was in the ICU for a week, then moved to recovery unit for a few days, and then was discharged on Thursday.

Didn't get admitted to the mental ward because the doctors knew it was DMSO and that something I touched which caused Methemoglobinemia in my blood. I didn't tell them anything about SN, even though I slathered the DMSO/SN solution on my skin and drank a small dose of it. So it could've been anything and they counteracted the condition with Methylene Blue. They said my methemoglobinemia levels were 34% which can be fatal. anything over 40% is fatal, but because my blood is anemic, the reaction was much swifter and it almost was fatal hence the longer stay in the ICU for monitoring purposes.

So the experiment, luckily I wrote it down on a sticky note of my ingredients and dosages to pass on in the DMSO resource thread. I mixed 10g of SN with 50mL of DMSO and applied to my arms and chest area, it smelled like garlic, so I did a couple of drops of this olive oil essence I have to make it smell like Lightly smelling garlic Brut Cologne. I wrote that I didn't feel anything for 10 minutes. So lets kick it up a bit. I mixed 5g of SN with 25mL of DMSO in a small tea cup, dissolved it, then drank the mixture. I wrote it tasted like garlic and hot dogs, kinda burning like tabasco sauce or heavily seasoned food in the back of my throat. I don't know which happened first either the SN kicked in my blood stream from the skin application because I started feeling dizzy, kinda drowsy, and was thinking "Oh shit, the SN i drank gonna kick in soon, must get to ER". Ever drove drunk in the daytime with the afternoon sun in your eyes? It royally sucks, but I made it without any incidents on the road. Risky? Yes. Dumb as hell. You bet.

So how do I feel? I get periodic chest pains when I do some exertion, I haven't tried riding my bike, and going up stairs and any walking gets me a bit winded. I'm on iron pills and have an appointment to get oxygen treatment for the next 2 weeks. An interesting thing is, my will to die has been reduced significantly. I feel a bit smarter, more calmer, my wife scared as hell but she stayed by my side the entire time which really meant a lot. I shared my jello with her in the recovery unit. We still argued when I got home, but I was much calmer and more empathetic to her feelings. I'm not completely depressed, I feel content and I feel I can turn things around. All I needed was a brush with death to come around. We'll see how long it'll last. I still have plenty of leftovers of DMSO and SN if I feel the need to try again. I'll stick around on the forums to assist any questions with DMSO and SN, but my task with dying is on hiatus for awhile.

Wow, I'm actually kinda speechless. That was incredibly brave if you to actually try, and I'm glad that you're still here especially knowing that the experience made you feel less suicidal and depressed. I really hope that the feeling lasts and that you can recover :)

Good to have you back Xerxes ♡

Xerxes, I have a wife too. She had me committed to lockup after attempt in 1990.
She is unaware of my present condition. I don't want to get locked up again.
Does your wife know? Is she supportive?

I don't remember dreaming or anything. When I came to, I thought it was the next day. Not 5 days later.

She's know I've been depressed and knows I have been suicidal in the past, but we both know that the mental ward sucks and we both are committed to keeping me away from that area.

Now I know what will kill me. I can live knowing I have a 100% safety net and no more theories on what if this will work or how many knots to tie or can I get a gun. To follow with the research one must test it on themselves as the best indicator, I just didn't account that my blood is anemic and how fast it was. Luckily I live 5 mins away from the hospital.

Refer to my DMSO Resource thread. It was an untested method and wanted to make sure that what I researched was a 100% guarantee. So figured, "hey why not, its just a small dosage, LD50 is 20G, I did 10G and 5G, what could go wrong, right?" If I ever find myself in the same place again, then I'll do the full 20G of SN/100mL DMSO.

I'm happy for you! I'm happy you are going to try to move forward.
I think many, if not all of us here will agree that having your method, and the tools in place, is a stress reliever.
Just knowing you can pull the plug whenever you want, makes dealing with the everyday so much easier.
Good luck, I wish you well.

Thanks for the update, and it's nice to have you back!

Did you take antiemetics or antacids at all?

I'm thinking of using the SN method and am considering just combining it with DSMO and rubbing it on my skin. Don't have to worry about vomiting that way. Or maybe I could inject it? Yeah, it'll burn, but it'll be fast.

And did you use a scale to figure out the amount of SN?

I measured roughly 2 teaspoons for 10grams of SN. No antacids, no antiemetics were used. Definitely no water. Didn't feel any effect of vomiting whatsoever. Shouldn't inject it. Not sure on those effects.

Awesome, thanks!

I weighed my SN and it appeared that about a teaspoon = 5 grams, glad I'm not the only one who got that.

That's good that your experiment worked and even better that you were able to escape being sent to the mental ward. This really takes a lot of bravery and courage to be able to do that as well as wits to convince the mental health professionals that you are not a threat/danger to yourself.

Since my method is firearms, I only have one shot at it (quite figuratively and literally), so I can't screw up and will have to do it right on the get-go. I have confidence that I will get it right when my time comes and I've practiced my angles and positioning from time to time to refresh it (e.g. aim at brainstem and stuff, don't flinch, just squeeze and when it goes it'll be instant).

Anyways, I'm glad that you are now on the road to recovery and that now you have the means and knowledge as well as recipe to carry out your method successfully when the time comes in the future.
