Those both work on psi. How many liters per min do I need regulator to do
15 liters per minute. Also, please read the inert gas chapter of the ppeh:

Cannot for life of me find a liters per min regulator. They're either psi or kPA

I can't find a single company that sells prefilled nitrogen tanks online that ships to the United States.
I'm surprised by this. I live in Europe and when googling for nitrogen tanks have found plenty of US companies/welding shops (that shipped only in the US).
99% of EU companies will not ship abroad, only inside the country they operate, because of safety regulations on pressurized stuff. Same with US, they don't ship to EU.

America is one of the places where getting a nitrogen tank is the easiest and you still have Am--on and E-ay US marketplaces.

I'm talking with a guy who is testing an implementation of the SCBA setup with an industrial Nitrogen regulator and it seems like the regulator is not sensitive enough to maintain the proper pressure for the demand valve, so I don't recommend trying to implement that type of setup anymore.

They way to go is using full SCBA equipment and connect it to the Nitrogen cylinder using an air-to-nitrogen adapter (like my setup) or with the EM SCBA which uses a Nitrogen medical regulator that connects natively to the cylinder (like Bengal's or imcadt99's setups).

Is there any problem if nitrogen is used in the car to CTB? Do I still need a regulator? In a car, is it okay just to open the valve of the nitrogen cylinder after the doors and windows are closed? Is there anything else to be aware of? I have 1600L of nitrogen, is this enough?

I would appreciate it if you didn't mind answering me!

That's unviable with compressed gas, you need a huge volume for the car method so it would have to be with Liquid Nitrogen (which has a huge 1:694 expansion ratio, that's why they are gonna use it in the Sarco). All the documented deaths by changing a vehicle's atmosphere to inert gas are with Liquid Nitrogen.

Thank you for the response. Can you please tell me what term you googled that brought up shops that ship to US? Are you sure they were not just empty tanks? I found plenty of companies that will ship empty tanks but none that will ship tanks prefilled with the nitrogen. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

I made the very simple exit bag, those pictures above are what it looks like. Also the nitrogen and the regulator, I know the regulator might be a safety hazard to use on this nitrogen tank, but I don't have a better option at the moment. I wonder if there are any other issues with these looks?

I have enough elastic bands that I can put a few more if needed.

The bag with the pillow inside looks huge. What are the measurements ?
and it seems like the regulator is not sensitive enough to maintain the proper pressure
What happens in this case ? Does the LDV not deliver enough nitrogen to breathe in ?
Was it one of the cheaper regulators (30 €) ?

I can tell you but you need 10 posts to PM--Yes, they are filled Nitrogen tanks, not empty ones

Can anyone PM some good Oxygen Analyzer options? The one recommended in PPEH has many suppliers and versions and seems like they could be a bit imprecise, as expected given their price.

Yes, it's big, it can wraps my head all over the way up to my chest.
This is just my guess and I may be wrong but I feel like your bag is way too big to purge CO2 effectively and you will need a much higher flow rate than 15LPM. Also, given that you don't have a suitable regulator, I think you're better off with using a smaller bag

hey , i am from india. i caan not get nitrogen or helium. i wanna use lpg gas with eb, in a totally safe and isolated place with safety precautions and notes all over. does lpg gas work same as nitrogen in terms of making me pass out without air hunger?

I see, so the 15lpm regulator only works for small exit bags, right?

It will take much long until it's filled. Just take bag measurements and calculate it's volume, then you use that value and divide by 15 to get how
long it will take until it's filled.

What I also don't know if this kind of setup will effectively deplete CO2.

I tried to ctb with my argon bag last night and failed. I was well drunk and did everything right. After I barely 10s I think I started to get high like on nitrous oxide for those who have tried it. I took the mask off after 15s I would say, then I passed out for 5sec with again nitrous oxide high like. So I think the setup is correct. I just have to face this survival instinct now...

Congrats on your setup and having the courage to test it!

There is another thread where a person is worried about the bag inflation with argon, if you fell to contribute:

So what I need is: a nitrogen cylinder, a 15lpm regulator, and an EEBD hood?
yes, but a 'click' regulator, that is, a regulator with a flowmeter --Flowmeter only way to control the flow

How about this regulator?

So it looks like I only need an EEBD hood now? And the EEBD hood is a perfect alternative to the exit bag, right?
Yes, the Hood I got had the tubing already attached , so I just put the other end on the flowmeter, done various tests--Its amazing how the Nitrogen gets rid of the Oxygen in your body so easily
