Ended up back here

Hey, it's been a long while. Honestly didn't think I'd end up back on this site, but I suppose life is just like that sometimes. I'm a college student now (CS Major, go figure), which is much further than I assumed I'd get. I don't think I'm suicidal, frankly I don't think I ever have been, I'm far too weak to let everyone in my life down like that. I'm not sure where that leaves me, besides lonely (unless you count my useless roommate) and a little mentally ill. So I thought I'd post on here, because why not frankly. If you read all that, thanks, because frankly it's more than I feel I deserve right now.

I know how dumb this sounds, but a really bad pre-calc class. We started on some new content, and I was reminded how useless my brain is at basic arithmetic, and that feeling had me re-treading the thoughts that ended me up here in the first place. I feel stupid getting torn up over that when everyone here is so much worse off, but it just is what it is I guess.

That's not dumb at all! I dropped out of college but my time there was some of the most stressful in my life. The fact that you've gotten so far is impressive in my book. It makes me sad when people call themselves stupid over academic performance because academic performance has basically zero correlation with intelligence. All grades determine is how well you fit into capitalist society; how obedient you are etc. So try not to beat yourself up too hard...
