It finally happened just last week, of course it happened during the holiday's lol. I couldn't tell you how long my SH hiatus was….maybe a year? I wasn't counting the days because I was never really in recovery…just laying low. Because this is just what I have to do in the meantime to prevent myself from lashing out and drawing attention. I've always hated how everyone always tries to make you feel guilty for doing this sort of thing but this is what truly helps me. Without it my emotions quickly get out of hand and I am unable to act the way others expect me to act. For me it works quickly… I usually excuse myself for 5 minutes about to fall off the edge, and come back so much calmer. If they want someone who is obedient and doesn't mind being treated like a dog, this is how it's going to be.
