good afternoon SS!

of course this isn't my preferred method, but i've heard that in the old days, navy sailors would stab a man in the armpit if they wanted to give him a humane death. i was thinking if i got high enough, i could feasibly get myself to "take the plunge"

i hear that standard time to die after that is like 20-30 seconds. if i cant find any other methods would this be a decent resort?

Idk.. seems like a stretch. Id definitely research it some. If this is a reliable method, why haven't I seen it on here before 😂

seems like a bad idea, its gonna hurt like hell, wayyyy too likely to fail and its going to be terrible to heal and just live with if you do fail. also very possible to lose your arm over this (as in being able to use it)

im sorry, I know this is a genuine question but the mental image of someone trying to stab themselves in the armpit was so funny that it broke me out of a crying fit. thank you lol

Man, alive (no pun intended) I flinched just reading that. Goodness, that sounds painful.

I don't know what would be worse, stabbing yourself in the arm pit or the bottom of your foot.

Both are super sensitive areas for me at least. Would not recommend.

I would imagine that if this method failed the recovery would be awful. Too much movement in the area.
I've never heard of death by armpit, I'll have to look into it lol

Even if it works, I suspect there's a significant gulf between what an old timey navy sailor considered humane and what we'd consider humane today.
