Drowning is one of the ways I've heavily considered for methods in regards to CTB, near the top of the list actually. I ended up acquiring SN but in some ways I still want to CTB via water as I was the best swimmer in my class back in school by far and it's always been one of my strongest abilities so it feels almost poetic to CTB in such a way. I lived a large portion of my life in water so to die by it just feels right.

I guess you could OD on opiates or get extremely drunk (10+ strong drinks) and then attempt swimming at a lake. If you have a boat you could row it towards the middle of the lake and lean against the side of the boat or even possibly take a floatable device you can lay on a decent ways from shore when the water is calm and lay on it before you pass out and then you could potentially roll off and drown.

Just some ideas I guess, it's actually very difficult to drown if you know how to swim and survival instinct can make it hard to CTB unless your under the influence of mind-altering substances and even then it's far from a guarantee.
