Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I don't think many people can be happy alone. They are just healthier so at various stages in adulthood if they do have to go it alone for a while they can. They might spew some nonsense about being centered and being happy with themselves but if it goes on for too long their health level will drop and pretty soon they'll end up on this forum. Just the sad, sick truth.

Most relationships fail and most people leave. Of course, you can't search for happiness in other people.

I don't think it has been the norm for all that long to have most relationships fail or people moving around much. Also, when people who claim not to find it in others move on relatively intact after a break up or relocation it's because they have a stable base of people such as family and a few friends they maintain close contact with. Even today there are people who are in their 30s who still have childhood or high school friends. Some people even stay friends with their exes. If those people had those foundations taken away they'd no longer "be able to find happiness in themselves alone".

So either you can find it in others due to things working out early on in your life or you can't find it anywhere and likely never will.
